A wood block print of a famous kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro IX . He was the Brad Pitt of the 1890s in Tokyo. I know I've mentioned my love of Kabuki before. I've been into it since I was in college. His expression is called a Mie. Crossed eyes indicate the intensity of his emotion.
It's why I asked. I know if anyone knows it's you. Otherwise it's probably just something cool someone found lol

I'll be in FL at the end if the month and I'm counting down the days until we can make the hour drive to Winterhaven to hit the little mom and pop Vietnamese place down there. Can't wait to get my Bahn mi.
Get this. I live in a tiny place. 20k pop. The Vietnamese kitchen is operating in an Eagles Club veterans bar 4 days a week. So aging veterans go in there and the smell of Pho and spring rolls probably triggers deep memories of war experience for them. I've been a tourist in Vietnam and I am very curious about the experience tonight. Many places in this tiny town I have never gone even though I walk by them often.

You have a taco bell? Lucky! We were about 900 people as of 2021 per google. No Taco bell. Just a gas station with a little Grill and a deep fryer which, I got to be honest they've got some pretty awesome pork tenderloins.
And the gas station isn't a combo 711? How do you even LIVE? I thought you were the glizzkingler... they have rolling dog counters o_O
