Hello my grow tent is always above 90% rh but my plants look healthy they're flowering and growing healthy but i still want to low my RH how to Do it? i have a dehumidifier inside the tent but i think it's not working correctly

What size tent?
What size dehumidifier?
How far along into flowering?
Are you exhausting into same room as tent or to another room or outside?
What strain are you growing?

The odds are not in your favor if you are flowering and the rh is at 90%

My guess is that you have one of the tiny little dehumidifiers and they don't work that great in an area much bigger than a small wine cooler.

i have a 2x2 1.40 tall the tent now it's open cause the room has exhaustion to the outside i have 2 small fans in the tent and the dehumidifier it's a small one but it says that is capable to work in a 20 square feet room.
and almost 4 weeks into flowering, don't get me wrong, when i put the hygrometer holding in one of the branches the humidty is only arount 65% or 70% but in the place where i usually use it it's always 90%, if i left the hygrometer in the pot it's that rh.
My strain it's autostrawberry gum, from advanced seeds.

it's my first grow by the way and i thought it would be really worst and i would not get into flower so being so advanced already it's a plus for me already but i still don't want to loose my crop now

If your dehumidifier is one of those stupid little "Peltier" style, it isn't worth the plastic it's made from. Plants produce a HUGE amount of water.

already bought a new one do you think i already lost my crop? cause they really look healthy and since tomorrow it arrives the new dehumidifier do you think i already have a big problem that i will not be able to solve?

you're gonna have to get a real dehumidifier.. that has a compressor like an a/c unit. Then you vent your tent into your room, and dehumidify the room.
It's a crappy deal with growing inside when it's cold out. Whatever you do, don't let that humidity build up wherever you live. You can cause all kinds of problems with mold and spores and sickness... let alone your plant getting attacked.

Depending on the strain and area, you have a buffer of time that they can be RH abused. Also the plants will grow, it's the buds and leaves being attacked by bud rot or Powdery Mildew. Once you get PM... that should be a wrap for the whole grow. Scrap it, get humidity under control and start over.

If you have a safe way to get the air totally out of your home and it's not gonna be a problem ( legal growing) then DO THAT for sure. That's easy and cheap. Running a real dehumidifier is gonna cost some money.
Everything looks fine in those pics. Plenty early.

I had some concerns about humidity in my tent 60-70 , also using the small dehumidifiers because of noise. i think its only possible to use those if you have like 5/6 of the things . I do have a proper dehumidifier but its so loud.
I opted for 2 of the little buggers and i think i am removing about 600ml of water per day at best.
in the last couple of weeks of flower now so i have also put 7 passive 500ml humidity trap tubs in there dotted around as well as 4 hanging passive humidity bags. the room is also well vented with good air circulation. 24/7 Very much hoping i don't get any mould .
There is another option if you struggle with high humidity and that is an ozone generator .

What's the relative humidity in the room the tent is in?

And are you exhausting air from the tent back into the same room? Or outside/into another room?

Since intaking air , intake from lungroom and have this dehumidifier in the lung room, which will make all incomming air ur desired rh. I know it sounds like a lot but the issues With the cheap ones aren’t worth it and those are also known to start fires , my sisters house burnt down by a cheap one and it’s lucky they weren’t home when it happened ( they don’t even grow )


deh like many things are a huge part of growing indoors

That's a bit overkill for a tent grow IMO...

There's many ways to skin the humidity cat, granted using a bunch of tiny compressor-less dehumidifiers is probably the least effective one

If the RH of the lung room is already low, they might just need to increase the exhaust speed/rate of air exchange in the tent. If the lung room itself needs to be dehumidified, I'd hope one of the 30-50 pint ones from the hardware store would suffice, bonus points if they have a sink, tub, or sump nearby they can let it drain into
