mornin, friends. yesterday i potted up the plants into new homes. this morning they look...not so great. i'm gonna test the pH of the mix i made and give it a few days to see if it's just shock. i also ended up with a new phone and a new laptop. i wanted to just replace the batteries on both, but the laptop was gonna be $750 to fix, and the phone apparently was on the brink of a "thermal event," complete with a bulging case from the faulty battery so it wasn't fixable. so that was $1500 i wasn't planning on spending but here we are. today is rain, and lots of it. flood watch locally.

Then not long after the froggies come a-croakin', the carp will come a-sloshin'. The males hang around the shore weeds and fertilize the eggs. They splash around pretty aggressively whilst doing said fertilization too. Local guy said they fight with other males for the "honour". (Go away little squiggly red line ... there is a U in that word!)

And until we moved here, I never knew that carp were as large as they are.

I shot a 54 lb carp with a bow some years back.

Forgot yesterday was the termite inspection. Consequently I didn't get shit done. Hey I just spelled consequently without spell check! I did get my larfy buds decarboxylated and in the freezer, 75 grams after cooking.
I always stress that the inspector will say something about the tents. He's a young guy and just kind of grins when he checks behind them. Nice to live in a legal state. My friend the judge says don't worry about it "no one cares how many plants you grow as long as you don't try to sell it". He also said the last bud I gave him was my best yet. That was some of the OG kush x vanilla frosting. It is pretty good I must say. It's the kind of pot that half way through the joint you realize it went out 30 minutes ago and you've been staring at Andromeda in your navel.

when i powered up my computer for the technician yesterday, it was on a page with a bunch of my weed pics. he got really weird and quickly turned away to look at his own computer, to give me time to close my screen down, i guess. LOL we're in a very-newly legal state so i'm sure that the conditioning is going to take a while to deprogram for everyone.
