Mornin' y'all. Because urban squirrels have zero chill, I'll be gettin' some mesh wire to go around the outdoor pots this year. The little d-bags have nearly uprooted the kale, cuces etc. I'm not giving them the chance with the ladies. Just temporary until everything is root established then they can be removed. Squirrels seem particularly ruthless this spring

I hear you Mr. Chiz. They are pretty aggressive this spring ...
And there seem to be a lot more of the little black fucks - chipmunks too - digging holes in the lawn, back garden and flower pots. They have been real active ever since the snow melted. I can't believe I am saying this but I wouldn't mind seeing the return of our neighbors feral cats. They did a great job keeping those critters in check..

They are customary at my club. Took a couple years to get used to it. Still mandatory 4 hour round. I don't enjoy being in one but they move along. Especially the flatbellies!

There's divot mix next to every tee but it's Memorial Day weekend. Lots of play and lots of staff on holiday. I spent years repairing divots on 'my' hole. When I transitioned to senior status here, someone else took up my duties. Also, that view encompasses the forward and junior tees. No further comment needed!

Yup ... love that aspect of the long holiday weekend. Nothing in any of the tee bins or cart bottles ... then you come around the corner and you see PILES of the stuff for more divot mix in the maintenance sheds.
