Just looking at all those freaking spiders gives me the Willies! I don't like anything that I can't see it's mouth
when it's around me. Got bit by a tiny little red spider once that hurt like hell! I looked at it while it was biting me
and couldln't believe that little red sucker was the source of all that pain.:fire:

spiders crawling on any part of me really. SVU not necessary.

They seem so fast and sinister…

I went to a Claims & pension exam, C&P, to get my PTSD increased from 70% to 100%. The Doc was a marine back in the day and we hit it off pretty good... I told him that I can go a month or two without leaving my property. I have acreage, so I still go outside and work.

I started by getting 70% rating 4yrs ago and I qualified for SSDI. I tried to go to college and got close to a bachelor degree before I ran out of GI Bill. I started going to Fed vocational rehab to finish my degree. I played thier games for over 6 months and they said that thier services were unfeasable for me and they did not provide college or a job. I took the letter to file for 100%. Doc said that a combination of SSDI and refusal from voc rehab were the biggest factors. It is 2 government agencies that said that I was unable to work.

I left out the part where me and doc traded war stories. He also was hit with an IED. I have been hit 3x. Shit, even our recovery mechanics got in on action!

Fear of crowds, parties and being locked out of my car and house. I'll check to make suremy keys are on my person before I shut and lock the door. Also a terrible fear of drowning.
 
It isn't me... I know a woman who faints if she sees a midget, dwarf, little person. I'm not trying to offend so I included the titles I think are correct. Seriously, she faints if she sees a midget. It's pretty funny to witness.

That is a very interesting way to think about agoraphobia. I'll keep this in mind and try to apply it to my life. Spaces... They are an awesome thing to live in now.

I have an in-law that has had agoraphobia all her life. As a grown person she fears things like going out to get the mail out of the mailbox right in front of the house. I used to think, "What a wimp, how can a person be that way." Now I understand it to be very real and destructive in a persons life. I'm going to Europe in December for a month. I would have a very hard time without Atavan to help chill my ass down.
 
Kinemortophobia represents a chronic fear of zombies (threads) :hump:

BB fears dropping stuff (usually keys or credit card) down a sewer grate or the slot on the floor where the elevator joins. (Not of manholes, can walk or drive over them no problem).

Always check my keys when I step over either. No idea where that came from. Public speaking and claustrophobia round out the list.

I have never been afraid of much, at least until it was too late to run . But when I was about 17 years old I met this big ass gorilla of a woman she was about 6’4” weighing about 300# with a Marlboro hanging from her mouth, her hair uncombed like every, red curly hair , wearing a cutoff tee shirt and one tit hanging out. I think she was married all though I don’t know if it was to man or beast ….. but there she was staring at me down by the boat ramp and licking her lips like I on the menu . It put the fear of god in me , I carried a 38 cal in my pocket but I just wasn’t sure if it would be effective for self defense against her. I don’t know what kinda phobia this is but it’s real it’s fucking real. To this day I will tear doors from their hinges to keep from being trapped by a woman like that.
