I grew his purple urkle outside in Hawaii year around for years and never once got mold. The humidity on average is upwards of 75-80% throughout the year there. Not sure what the humidity levels are on the east coast.
its the rain plus humidity that is the problem in Hawaii and the North East

some parts of Hawaii get very little rain compared to the other areas

I wonder what pineapple it is there many with that name with different origins there's one from c99 there's sonics pineapple cut that's skunk based and there's another that's just a select pheno of ed rothensals superbud as well then theres pineapple chunk and express lines etc
There's an old clone called pineapple that circulates up there, seems indica dominant from the shape of the bud, smells strongly of pineapple. Supposed to be a yielder. I'm only assuming that's the one he uses, it does not seem like a c99 pheno from what I've smoked, but again I'm only speculating.
Edit: seems like a mystery, this is about all I could dig up https://www.icmag.com/threads/pineapple-clone-only-from-mendo.100212/page-2

From that thread yeah sounds different from the UK one and the c99 one so who knows the ed rothensals one is nice as well tasty not super strong but nice enough

That NorCal one wasn't super super potent either, but it was good smoke, I think people grew it because it gets big and is hardy outdoors

It could maybe be that superbud one in origin then who knows maybe someone could ask sensi or someone who knows it better if I remember right they called it potent evolved hybrid type or along those lines before the superbud monicker

To clarify; I forget what interview I heard him say it; but Caleb uses the old school pineapple cut (not Cinderella 99) it's indica; but on the east coast there's a sativa pheno of the same strain.....brings incredible pineapple-juice like flavor....but lower potency on its own.

I've only smoked the sativa version once in like 06 and I remember it having big nugs but kinda looking like trash....smelt 100% of pineapple though and tasted the same way pineapple juice 100% it gave me a low potency buzz but it was nice regardless because of the flavor she had.

Humboldt Pineapple. Unknown parentage, so who knows. I got the pineapple cut in Arcata in like 2012 and grew it till 2015. I wouldn't say it's any kind of skunk or superbud. It's a huge nld style plant that's all fruit no funk. Look on Caleb's website he has a description of the cut he uses under the Pineapple S1, and it's right on par with what I remember the plant being.

Hi, please can I ask has anyone smoked CSI Humboldt's Grandaddy Purple or Wedding cake S1's please? They are two strains I've long been interested in but have always shyed away from because of fake versions. Thanks Peace.
