Good morning one and all,
Getting a jump on things with some tincture in my morning coffee.
Today we bring in the autumn decorations and while I'm rooting around I think I will set up the 2 x 4 tent in the garage. I'm chomping at the bit to try my hand at cloning and SOG.
If it was up to me I'd have 3 tents going at all times. It's not up to me though so only the one tent in the bedroom and when the heat subsides, as many as I can fit in the garage. I should have a grow window in the garage from Oct. to March. Last night at 9 pm the temperature in the garage was 97 Rh 15, that should kill 'em. Waiting. Patiently.

Did someone say cloning? I have 30 in this tray, 6 different strains. Now I have to choose 1 of each to pot up and toss the rest. Always painful but I know I can't flower all of them and I leave them in the tray until they start looking hungry just to draw the process out. Sometimes I add a little maxibloom and they can be happy like this until I'm ready. These were cut about a month ago. 20241005_090545.jpg20241005_095527.jpg

I cut 25 and save 4. Three for flowering, one to replace the now stump that was formerly a mother plant. When I started I made a DIY tuffy bin-air stone aero-cloner that barely worked. It had 12 sites and on a good run I'd get 25%.

A few years, some better hardware and more complete knowledge, I had no idea how hard it would be to throw out 21 perfectly good cuttings every 3 months. I've tried selling them, given a few away but no matter what I end up tossing twice as many clones as I could get to pop when I started. I *could probably only take 5 cuttings and never have a short crop again, but that first year still makes me take as many cuttings as I can fit 'just in case' something goes wrong again. Now days I toss them in the garbage bag saying, "This is SPARTA" and yeet the clones with the slightest imperfection only saving the 4 greenest with the most root mass.

I made the mistake of showing the picture to my wife. Can I borrow $52.00 as well?
Our oldest Son has had the Corduroy Lion from this same company since birth. Shits made to last.

Gonna chop two of these today. Sherb & GG are limping over and with torrential rains and winds coming tomorrow I can only tent/garage so many. Since the Fritter and PBB are still bulking, they will chill in the garage. Gonna get chilly next week also, so the end is in sight.

Have an excellent Saturday and stay elevated!

Gonna let this Fritter chill for another week or so.

Ahhh Tetris, I love that game. Let's get your sq foot plan and get this thing going. BTW I have 4 in one room and an entire dedicated flower room. Two more minisplits and I should own the rest of the upstairs. You need to find a way to get your wife into growing.
Gardening is anathema to her. She has killed more house plants than Home depot.

My dog is sort of anxious. She doesn't eat tissues but she rips them up then mouths the fragments until they're hard little bbs. I have to put all kinds of things out of her reach if I want to leave the house.View attachment 5431219
Yeah we have to close bedroom/bathroom doors and block kitchen/dining area with gates when we leave her alone in the house. She gets the living room, access to her food and water bowls and can go outside through doggy door. Back yard is fenced with a porch she likes to relax on. This seems to keep her out of trouble and calm while we are away. We tried to limit outdoor access also but that seemed to cause more anxiety. Can't bring myself to put her in a crate even though she is a crate trained rescue.

What did you get?
I bought my son's stuff because he's moving and can't take everything. The 3D printer is an Ender 5 Pro. The VR system is the Steam VR with the Valve Index headset on an Alienware Aurora R9 computer. The computer is powerful enough for the free CAD program, Blender, which I'm learning. There's quite a bit to learn just about 3D printing alone. This will keep me busy for a little while. I'm making a prototype for the idea I have. This is great for inventors and hobbyists.

We’re going to meet a potential second dog this afternoon. Entirely Miz Chiz’s whim as the actual work of the second dog will fall to me. Boomer might like the company, but I can’t believe we’re entertaining this. Happy Wife…..

In plant news, two down so drying commences. Got the environment close to where I want, so hoping these finish by the time the others are ready to come down. The dance continues ;)

Does she have any pig ears to chew or chicken jerky maybe also for anxiety. CBD for animals is great to, fireworks, loud noises and overall help. We have a pet CBD I get for Sophie. IMG_20241005_150323.jpg

It’s a beautiful day out, and many of my peppers are just right for harvesting next years seeds, so I’m keeping busy taking turns smoking and picking.

A few peppers ready for seeding and spreading out to dry.

Now back to work. I have hot sauce to make and brisket to smoke.
REMEMBER to wash your hands before peeing...
