Crickets and Cicada Seeds

How many days old are they?
Seeds soaked and cracked around 5th Nov, they spent a good while under small T5s which I think slowed them down. Since getting the tent dialled in growth seems quicker now, so any day and I'm expecting signs. There are hints but too small to make a call.

The tall one back left has just kept pushing more branches where it would normally show sex, so is anyones guess what that is!!

I intentionally pollinate every plant I grow, indoors and outdoors. Feels like some kind of duty.
Oh the luxury!!

In a prohibition country running a 2x4 and 2x2 pollinating anything is a big ask if meds are to be maintained for the two people that need them.

Hence this lot will all be grown out first, cuts taken, keeper females and males kept and second run to make crosses.

I'm also running a female pure Ortega from Fleur Du Mal, if she's any good, she will be the first to get Puck pollen. ('Portega'?! 'Ortuck'?!)

Here's the Ortega female, heavily trained due to space;

I appreciate my good fortune! One of the reasons I create seeds to share. Actually, on the indoor plants I leave a couple of lower colas for pollination, I don't usually do the whole plant. I may only get 2 or 3 dozen seeds, fine by me.

Sounds like he did a good job on the back crossing selections.

I have a bubba x puck bc2 that is now moving closer and closer to the front of the line of seeds to pop next. I popped bubba S1, irene kush x bubba, katsu bubba x bubba the other week. Hoping to make a bubba line I can hunt through. We had good bubba when I was younger so I'm familiar with what to look for but I'm curious how that would mix with puck, a lemon pledge bubba sounds dank as hell
Nice bra! I missed that cross so make sure you post pics I bet it turns out dank AF

Stunning dude. Have they shown sex yet?
Thanks!

If they showed, I can't really tell yet.

I culled 2 males (I think) in veg. I am pretty sure they are all female except the back left one the jury is still out.

What is the latest you want to get the males out of there if you don't want pollination to occur? I remember once I was able to tell 2 or 3 weeks into flower.

Everytime I see this thread pop up makes me wanna run some damn puck. They all look so good
Theres a reason Puck, and its mother, Pacific Northwest Hashplant, have been kept alive since the early-late 80s. Puck was found in 88, and I believe PNWHP, has been around, since at least 1982.
I cant remember where I read it, and I do not know, if its true, but, PNWHP, was Kandahar.

Ordinarily they should show their balls during the first two weeks of stretch, but these dinosaur plants are nothing like anything I've grown before, so who knows.

It actually presents a problem in the 2 x 4 as I didn't want to pot up all 5 of mine into their final 13ltr pots. I've normally sorted the boys from the girls in small 1ltr pots, but not the puck it seems.

Thanks for this, very interesting info. I've kept frozen pollen from a Real Seed Company Kandahar male that had a stem rub exactly like the Pucks, but stronger. Would get right into your sinuses strong. Exact same smell.

This bodes well for a cross of sorts once the keepers are found.

I love a good hashplant. I'm looking forward to growing out these pucks eventually. There's another hashplant out there I've been drooling over... but I'm afraid the sticker shock will devastate me lol
