I hate trimming thread!

That was one hell of a night up till 130am. Probably 14oz based on growing it a dozen times from clone now. Wow I just bought a new bigger tent for more yield and still glad I did but what a bummer. She could of ran a couple more times.

But it wasnt easy to grow in and never got them to finish 10wks on dot like I done half the time in better conditions.

I absolutely love my electric trimmer. I pull the fans, buck off the buds and pour them into my whirling trimmer. They shoot out the chute and load em up into the Freeze Dryer. I love my live path. Highly recommend to family and friends

It's been a busy week with trimming and having the tent to empty and make space etc etc.

I've another crop going I started seeds a few weeks back they needed space.

I got a bit ahead of myself I had to change the fricken filter and it's above the 4x4 light led light, hmm ok light out, filter down, oh damn and blast!
I taped the fan/filter together last time, I had to completely unscrew the clamp to remove tape then re tape the new one but only after shiming the clamp with neoprene to get a good hold, that's probably why I taped them together to start with...It's a lot weight to come crashing down on yer plants.

Job done!

3x10ltr nutrient tubs stacked up doubled as my helper, they held the fan/filter that let me get it taped and screwed up and hung.

I've got a new tent I don't want to think about changing it I've barely room to change my mind in there, it resembles a shop more than a room.

My zipper de railed a few weeks ago it was easy fixed but a warning, I've used the same zipper forever so I've parked that ou the way and I'm using the zipper that was parked for years it feels tight and sounds zippy so fingers crossed.

Lol our grows must be in sync because its always about time for trim for me too when this thread comes up. I dont trim amymore just barely get rid of dry leafs just large obnoxious leafs mostly. I think quality is better than roughing them up to get all the leafs out.

I just do that and press them to flower rosin, idk why Im obsessed with flower rosin. Just got a nice strain for it. I got more rosin yield by a long shot and my prepress flower mold needs to be cleaned every 6oz vs a pound. It still takes a minute to trim it but yea. Nothing new its called growers trim.

It does a pretty decent job wet or dry trim (this was dry trimmed)


You can fit 4oz in at a time if you fill it up. 30 seconds later you're done.
No chance I'll go back to hand trimming...

Invest in a Tom's Tumble Trimmer and don't look back!

I have one of these. I dont trim too much when I chop. Just fans and obnoxious leaves with no trics on em. Then once dry I'll buck and canna brush anything I dont like. Alot of it get turned into bho, or bubble then pressed into rosin. I do fresh frozen with whatever I don't feel like trimming nice

I try to not molest the buds as much as possible. I prefer the never touched trics for making hash etc. Tends to come out nicer.

All depends on your flower. Sometimes it just mushes. Nice dense buds roll in there just fine tho

I'm the same. I don't trim much just get it down and get it drying. I find it dries nicer with more plant material on the stocks anyway.
I'm not much of a fan of flower rosin. Too much poopy flavours in there for me. I prefer to make it hash first then press it. I usually only press 120-78 and the rest is pressed into a cube, frozen, micro planed, then pressed into a 'temple ball' kinda. I'll smoke that with a joint or maybe alone in a bowl. As time goes on I move further away from combustibles and more into concentrates and vaping.

I picked up a bowl trimmer around Christmas time I'm planning to give a whirl tonight...just as soon as the pain killers kick in lol

I,ve tried some lowers in it and it trimmed them good enough tbf I wouldn't even have tried to trim them so that alone makes it worth having

I'm happy with that tbh I'm happy it trimmed them at all.

Agreed, it doesn't due quite as well on fluffier buds, but what you lose I look at like the whiskey that is lost during the wooden barrel aging process...

If I lose a 1/2 - 1oz of weed but I just trimmed 24 - 32 ounces in less than 30 minutes, I'm okay with that.

Saving time is well worth the small loss
Everytime I trim I look into it but I always think fack I've wasted so much money on trim shit as it is will this actually help or just another kinda help a bit tool that takes up room on the shelf....

I paid a bit more for the vevor one with that grate £130, at the time I did a little research and found they grates are only on trimmers costing hundreds of pounds, I'd also watched a video that implied they grates were better for dry trimming so I paid the extra for it.
