A place to press. A lot. Shoot the shit with me as we press a lot of flower. Basically flower rosin jail. Might be just me but thats ok. I dont really have a thread for this. You may share anything flower rosin related you dont have to press several ounces to join.

This is my man cave. Flower rosin is what I do. Would love to see it get more recognition and to interact with others who share the same passion for flower rosin. 20oz this harvest I think, so stay tuned!

Test press to see if water content is gone it almost is, it barely popped while dabbing. 12-24 more hrs. Already yielding 16.5% and heavy nugs so its gonna be a great performing clone. Its tasty, saucy and potent. Probably 9oz clone.

I learned a new trick too. Just put the paper and rosin down somewhere with a fan on it. If its super saucy terpy watery a bitch to collect. Thats great because the sauce you already know what that means for quality but was a burden to collect.

Out for the day. Got two more clones to harvest about 6oz each. Now to collect and weigh.

Ok now officially done. I shouldnt of considered my self done just yet. Am now though. Dark but dank. 17.22% off 220.71gs flower to 38.06gs flower rosin. Dabbed a gram. Well deserved. Nice job clone!

Test press 15% off 3.21gs its ready no water in it its all dry. Time to go to town. Again.

199gs pressed. Now to collect and get the numbers.

It was so-so on collecting. Even after long time cooling it was messin with me. Parchment blow out? Well Im having them suddenly this run. Tried pressing lighter it helped.

15.73% of 199gs to 31.3gs flower rosin. Everythings there except looks which dont matter to me. It was smoking off the press too a little here and there. Must of been the rosin but smelled like parchment or filter bag but same time I dont think its from that.

Pressing any cooler and Im losing substantial yield just for looks, so.

I just got a nug smasher and am learning as I go. Results so far have been okay, I wound up with a super black tar, and it is potent. Saw yours is pretty dark too why do you think this happens? Anyhow, happy pressing!

It can be if the weed is a few months old or older for sure but mine is likely due to dry consitions. Also high temp but I could show yall what color it comes out at with 200F instead of 220F but the yield starts to drop to where it aint worth it. It just so happens to taste better at high temp along with yield so I just go with it.

Could be dry conditions or the grow conditions or both, its 35rh and 75F. With box fans so lots of air flow.

Sometimes its just dark idk lol. Its buttering up though and softening. I got like 5.5oz to press tomorrow. Im attempting to grow a new strain jellysickle going to see how that turns out. Sometimes it comes out dark but will blonde up entirely in color and texture.

Thanks for the information. I just finished dry/cure on some Laughing Gas from Mephisto and will try that next. Do you dry/cure before pressing or go straight from trim to press?

I dont cure but I have found that for example Kongs Krush by green house seeds needs to cure. Or it will taste green its hard to explain. It will actually cure though unlike other strains, it actually gets smoother and the aroma changes and gets 10x stronger and better.

So when I pressed the cured it was a lot better smelling and tasting. Both the weed and the flower rosin.

I like the convenience of strains like I and others have where we concluded it doesnt need a cure. Its an extra task to complete which also is kinda game over if you miss the cure window. For both smoking and dabbing the flower rosin made from it. Hopefully it doesnt taste blah but it can happen.

Pressin. Lighter color but less yield. Same temps.

I only get syrup. I never get anything that gels up and becomes waxy at all. It just stays the consistency of warm honey or maple syrup.
