No god and no jesus

God = invisible guy in the sky - doubt it

Jesus = first Jim Jones - they used crosses instead of koolaid in those days

bible = work of fiction. I always wondered if the people who saw things like the burning bush and the parting of the red sea might have eaten rye that was infected with ergot, (makes you trip, where the idea for LSD came from)
jesus was actualy an alright dude before the church twisted shit and made him devine. he never himself claimed any divinity, no one else did either in his lifetime. the church didnt start promoting his "godlyness" until something around 300ad.

the burning bush, parting of the red sea, the destruction of soddom and gommorah... all can be explained with science. the "holyland" is(and was) a very siesmicly active area rich in oil, natural gas, tar, and sulpher deposits. earthquakes have been known to dry rivers and lakes for periods of time. siesmic activity could easily released pockets of gas, tar and sulphur creating a "rain of fire and brimstone(sulphur)" easily destroying cities. to the people thousands of years ago this HAD to be an act of god, now we know better.

and whoever said the bible was written a few thousand years after jesus...do your homework man. the first testament was written LONG before jesus' lifetime, and it is just now two thousand years after the mans death...to my knowledge the bible isnt a new release.

The bible wasn't written a few thousand years after Jesus, that would be today. Right now is a few thousand years after Jesus. It was compiled after his death, but none of it came straight from his pen to paper. It is all different peoples experiences with Jesus and the way they saw things.

Zeitgeist is brainwashing via youtube. Sorry, no takers in my house. I tried to watch the thing, but it sucked. I mean really sucked, like 5 minutes after I started I was done, it sucked so badly.

If you want to brainwash people, you need to get to the meat of the story quickly. Whoever made it must have had an amazing amount of spare time and boredom, that's how much it sucks.

Zeitgeist - DON'T DO IT

Religion is one of the dumbest things to argue over. I'm personally anti-religious but I've come to terms with the fact that I cannot argue a religious follower out of their ways. You cannot use logic in an argument of religion seeing that religion is the farthest thing from logic. Followers depend on faith, and when someone claims faith in something, no logic can break it it. It's called being stubborn.

but nobody actually saw jesus' body leave the grave. They came back the next day and it was gone.

No chance the romans could have stolen it and used it for target practice or anything.

Maybe someone moved the stone that blocked the cave entrance to see if there was anything worth stealing, then predators took the remains away.

There are lots of different ways the body could have dissappeared. Have you ever left $20 laying on a table in a public place and went to the bathroom? I bet it gets "ressurected" too.

Just because people claim it happened doesn't mean it did. Think about it. People told these stories for hundreds of years by mouth before anyone started writing any of it down.

Did you ever play that game telephone when you were a kid? One person whispers something into another persons ear, they go down the line and by the last kid the message is nowhere near what it started out as.
