massive fan leaves

orgnl were you happy with the results from the plant? If so thats what matters imo. I dont see why at the end of flowering it would matter. Kinda seems like you would be making it pull nutes out of soil rather than leaves though. Maybe I am just stoned. It is a good plant though.

those fan leaves do absolutely nothing... solar panels untill put into flowering... but if you think there gonna help your buds get bigger.. leave em lmfao.. foolish... chop those bitches...it sends the nutes elsewhere instead of those useless leaves... i chopped em all but 4 at the top.. my shits exploding...read and weep... everybody has a different opinion on the matter... if you like thc infested nugs that are dense as fuck...you'll chop half those fan leaves..and give your buds the light and nutes they need the most.

if the leaves are there, why did the plant grow them?

you know nature is a harsh place and no plant could survive the ages by growing things it did not need to survive, wasting food

you think mother nature lets plants just waste food? if there were plants like that, they have already gone extinct a long time ago.

If you notice, if you have ever harvested anything, that under every bud u cut off , there is a leaf undernieth it

this is the designated power supply for that bud particular bud

the main #1 goal of the plant is reproduction. that means the plants main goal is to grow the fatest buds its genetics will allow. cuz the buds is where the youngins come from.

i was extremely happy with the results, got 35 grams off each plant. i wish i got at least 42 though being outdoor. i wish it was more frosted with trichomes, but i think strain may have had something to do with it, but then again, maybe the nutrients, we have switched nutrients for our current grow, went from sensi to botanicare. actually, it kinda did seem like the more fan leaves we took off, the more of the bud leaves turned into fan leaves.. so we just had more and more.

right...there aint nothin wrong with my plant.... my last harvest was just under a oz... stop being a critic... my plants organic..

every plants different...i wish my last one had way more trichs...but the shit got me stoned...and it didnt taste half bad...i've been givin my plant more nutes then the last..so im hoping for more trichs...

Outdoors there is no reason to remove any fan leaves. Indoors it's a proven viable thing to do. There are quite a few threads on it on teh Indoor forums so I won't derail your thread to that.

Nah bro, you missed my point. Outside, if you're growing in sunlight, there's no lack of it. It's all around you so removing a few leaves won't give you better light pen as it would if you were using artificial light.

There is no benefit of removing leaves growing outside. If they fall off on their own, let them. Indoors, you're trying to grow buds, not a tree, due to lack of space. Outside, you don't have that problem or the limited light problem so you are trying to grow a tree.
