thank you ! smellmyfinger. I picked out some bag seeds I have colected , and this is what I came up with . I'm happy so far, and I think they may all be females. they just have that stink to them already.
so you veged yours for 28 days? I'm at day 21, and would like 2 more weeks.
How much vertical space do you have in your grow room? I have 6' , 4x4 though, so I could just start wrapping branches around the room! I think mine will max out at around 4 1/2 -5' .

lol you've got some big hopes for only using cfl's lol...
i'm saying an ounce and a half total as well not per plant buddy lol... and you may get a top cola the size of a 50 cent piece lol

You have some great looking veggies there! Nice and tight with very little stretching. I was thinking of going with CFL's for my grow, but a friend showed me the light regarding MH and HPS. I am just getting my setup rolling and I hope to have plants as nice as yours!

DAY 24-- They seem to be happy. about 2" of vertical growth, with little to no stretching. I started a feeding schedule with Neptunes fish emulsion. I may just let them grow up a lilttle bit.

I woke up early today, as it is a fine day to make history.
After making breakfast for the wife, and enjoying some coffee, I decided to check on my progress.

And had this little surprize awaiting me !
I'm STOKED! I was gunnin' for this one to be female. I think I found a male as well, but I'm not too quick to kill, two more days and I'll know for sure, then it's off to 12/12 land for the ladies.!!! BOOYAAAA!!

Dude, they look great am on day 21 and not near there yet...thanks for sharing, great to have a comparsion that's close in age. Think my grow will take longer than I expected but worth waiting for I hope.

I have about 6' of height also, 24 x 30. A small cab. After day 28 it really went out of control in my opinion with vertical growth. It stretched really bad. It went from 20 inches to 30 in a week, despite my attempts to stop it with close lighting. It's now at 34 inches and it's been stuck there for 4 days so I'm assuming it's done getting any taller. (thank god) I thought it was going to grow through the roof. I'm at about 45 days from sprouting. I have 6-42 watt 2700k CFL's. This is the first time for me so I'm very excited, despite the fact that mine wasn't grown properly. I want to buy seeds and am unsure what type would best work for closet/cabinet CFL grow??

Your plant is looking very nice! I hope you get a couple ounces off it!

smellyfinger, yo i'm feelin' ya. I put them on 12/12 yesterday, and when I checked this morning, they were all up in the lights!! about 2" of growth! It's allright let 'em grow.
I also found another female, so today was a good day.
