Hopped forums on ya. As far as my electric bill, it is a bit hefty. But there are things I did to keep it down, switching all house bulbs to energy efficient flouros, I have a one story house so I installed a pellot stove for heating, and I unplug all electronics when I go to bed. Electric in our area is already so high that it's hard to tell if it is because of my lights or not, lol.
I will say the 600's in my mother tents are way too much. I am not exaggerating when I say I could take 50 clones off each mom every three days with no problem. I prefer to keep bonsai moms. They take up less space, produce many clones, and seem to root faster for some reason. The only problem some strains are harder to bonsai, such as OTM because it is so woody and thick. However I just tried notching the entire way around the stem and they rooted in 5 days instead of 10-14 so that helped loads. As far as heat mats, I cheat a little. I have 18 gallon rubbermaid containers lined with mylar with seedlings and newly rooted clones in. These are still in the tents, however they have 2, 4' flouro tubes over them, and 2 small plant flouros as well. These get warm but not hot. What I do is set my cloning trays on top of them. It gives my 80 degree root temps and doesn't add anymore electricity as well as saves me some space. I can fit 2 trays on each with 50 clones per tray. Works quite well.
I am going to flower out all my huge mother plants and switch to the mother keeper tents which are 2' deep x 4' tall x 4' long. These have the 235 watt T5 fixtures in them and I can do about the same number of moms in two of those bonsai style as I can using 2 5x5 tents with 600's in them.

theres a dude that posts sometimes,flo grow, his is settup like an arena type,vertical settup also. i know my las lite bill , i staarted getting on my lite saving abilities, its gonna be really sweet wen i use my air conditioners that are mounted in ea. grow room for summer heat,lol,,heaters mounted , 16 inch fan mounted ,temp. controller to keep temps 75F year round no matter how cold or hot it is. the sweet thing about the indoor grow is that we use gas central heater for free co2 boost, and thermostat set at 70F..... i guess as far as more strains go i think i'm gonna make somethin happen withwat got,hell i prob. have 10 different strains total to make a personal strain,lol.wat do you think.i still have 3 pacs of reg. blueberry seeds ,,and others ,freebies ,watnot.i even salvaged 15 BM hermie seeds jus for the hell of it,lol..

your bleu moonshine herm seeds are prob fem seeds,if you got the space,id start them soon,just veg them and put them in your backyard,you would have giant bleu moons,you could orbit around each plant,bc it would be so big that it would have its own gravitational feild. plus you will get like 5-6lbs dry per plant.

yea rite, and my neighbor wich i hate wood happily turn me in probably.but i amybe moving with in a year maybe get a good area to try it,i still have about 40 orange bud hermie seeds. never fool with feminized seeds, i learned my lesson i dont care how many successful grows i hear that were hermie free.

Yeah I prefer not to use fem seeds either, but unfortunately it seems like more and more strains are only being offered that way. I can't wait till I get the Uptown Haze seeds stabilized, then I am sending them off to places to use a freebies. Just takes a while to make this a stable since flowering goes about 110 days on average, but it is soooooooooooooooo worth it. NY Haze x Original Haze backcrossed to NY x Original Haze and backcrossed one last time to mom. SHould produce some devestatingly potent haze seeds. I will be sprouting the first backcross seeds in a couple weeks.

i never grew haze, i always stuck to the rok hard incas, preferably blue or purple indoor strains.saw they jus restocked reg bluemoonshine seeds on rhino seeds, dj short wants 165.00 for the same at hemp depot an thier breeders pacs to, , i am waiting for my cc payment to clear so i can order.done maxed out that card,lol..

The hazes take a bit longer but they yield well (most of them) and what can I say, the high is just awesome! Thanks for the heads up on the regular seeds. I am going to place an order for those tomorrow for sure! Hopefully all goes well. The blue strains are definately all worth doing. Always potent, fairly fast, and usually yield well. I just like to have a rediculous variety, lol. Any less then 4 kinds on hand and I start to panic.

yea , i've done those reg. seeds of bm several times over 5 yrs ,believe it or not. i never thought much of cloning till i started taking it to another levelthis las year.i used a 400 hps for 5 yrs and got a 600 , then another 600 ,intake , fans vortex fans,etc. then i got this 250 and that changed everything. but i do like doing seeds. because you can relocate and have plenty genetics to crank up, rite?that king kong movie was awsome, i aam gonna watch resident evil degeneration aand house of wax on my blu ray player tomorrow, and ordered some old 1930s gangster movies , white heat , the public enemy,lol.

no doubt i am going to stuf four moms under that 250,lol.i can keep them medium size.i hava g13 hp mom from the best bud producer,that weed there is very cerebral.no more than two hits and your buried your face in a pillow,lol. i am going to get me a BM mom a BB mom and a white russian.
i want to keep growin those, may get some grape krush soon.i jus dont like sending cash.with a cc i dont get screwed overall.lol.ns settup you got though the way it sounds.

Yeah I hate sending Money Orders, but sometimes it is the only way I suppose. The customer service at the Depot is really fast and professional and they ship express for $12 so it's not a bad deal. I try to rotate my moms, when they get real large, I take some clones to hold back, flower the moms, and replace with a different kind until the clones grow up. It works well until they get too big and then you have trees on your hands, lol

thats the way your supposed to do it unless we had a ware house to keep moms,hmmm sounds ns,anyway yea i thought along the same ,flower the moms and clona new mom,same thing,yea this las clone i did on the BM was my first time cloning an got 95% rooted,and in 8 days. so i was glad to get pass that milestone,lol.i keep callin the cc to see if it cleared,lol. i want those reg. they had been out for over a year till recently, most of the time i done BM in the past they seemed more kush , so some i had to put on lincoln logs,lol,no not really but i did hve to adjust height on a few.
