why do you hate rockwhool?... dryies too fast for you?... I knwo thats the only thing i hate about it...

Try this for cloning with rockwhool... Hell i do this for cloning no matter what i use... keeps them moist longer.. check once a day or so...

also works great for those peat plug

The main reason I don't like rockwool is because the fuckin hole won't stay closed. I don't think the rockwool is drying too fast, but I like your custom humidity dome! lol. Should I add hydroton to the tray of my humidity dome?

yeah thats what i was meaning with the pics... see i add hydroton and then i half fill with water... ensureing that the rockwool isnt touching the pool of water. (sitting on the other half of the hydroton)... the water gets whicked up and moisturizes them when your not looking and spraying..LOL...

As far as the hole thing ... I like to scrape/scratch/loosen around the hole with scissors to make it more hair like... then stick the clone till i feel it stuck a little to the hydroton... Possibly a little too in... but enough to hold it upright and provide room for roots... pinch the sides a little and done... once see even 1 root they go in a small cup with soil.. bam done!.

Flower away my friend.... just before you put into flower grab those lower branches and clone. by the time those finish 60-70 days the clones will be nice plants.

allways think ahead man... You dont want to be drying and starting new seeds... you want to chop and place a new batch in...

I'm going to take 4 clones from the confirmed female today or tomorrow. When the tent arrives, the clones will be in the tent and grow while the other plants flower, and like you said by the end of the flower cycle the plants vegging will be a nice size for flower. Can't fuckin wait!!

dont soak the rockwool ever after the first time... Its just spraying them down... if you do the hydroton thing you wont need to do nothing but maintain the water lvl to half way up and spray the plants so they can drink till they make roots.

I spray 2-3 times a day...whenever i see it get a little dry... you now you only keep the humidity dome fuly closed for the first 4 days or so....after that open it on one side about an inch or so high..I use a clothpin lol....

alright thanks man. it's just the starting to peek out. I haven't sprayed the rockwool once yet, so I guess I'm off to do that now! I'm hoping the clones are female!!! I will find out soon I guess!

Tomorrow most of the plants will be watered. I'm going to add 1.5-2 ml per gallon of synergy. I'll report how the plants like it!

Well I'm an idiot. The clones turned yellow/gold and I'm pretty sure they are dead. I was wrong about the root, I don't even know wtf it was but it just brushed off.
The mom is being fed today with 3 ml grow big and 1.5 table spoon big bloom. I was going to add synergy but I think 445 ppm (250 ppm of nutes) is enough.
Man did the grow big raise the ppm a hell of a lot more than big bloom does. It also decreases PH a lot. My PH was ~8.45 before adding grow big and after adding 3 ml it went down to 7.2. I'm pretty sure the mom is ready for this dose(even though it is small)

Yeah man. I'm transplanting soon. When my dr80 arrives the 5 HK plants will be put in their for veg and the rest of the plants will be flowered. I'm pretty sure the 2nd biggest plant is male, so that will be killed along with the unsuccessful clones.
