Plant went without water for 2 days... can it be saved???

So I had to work an extended weekend and my plant, which is starting to flower, drank all its water and went dry for 2 days. I assume it is 2 days. Either way, it is not completely dead by any means, but looks like it got ran over by a truck. It is very sad and I feel horrible. Is there anyway to save it? Can I make clone cuts from it once it has began flowering? Any help is appreciated. I have just kept it going with water and same light cycle. It is not drinking much over the last couple of days.

It should be ok and pull through in the future id soak a towel and sit the pot on top of it, if its big and strong it will pick up in a day or so, best of luck and shame on you.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but the plant is in an aeroponics. That is what dried out. The water chamber. I did trim a lot of the dead, curled leaves. It is a mess in some areas, and not so bad in others. I truly wonder if the shock will greatly impact the flowering stage. It is a shame. It looks like one of those poor poodles after it has been shaved to nothing! I guess I could post pics if needed. Thanks for the response! Shame on me indeed LOL.. I got caught working out of town and the boss extended the trip. Next time I'll have back up plans.

Hope it works out dude, just have the peace of mind they are weeds, they are stronger than you think, but its also a lesson.

If the leaves are crispy get rid of them, if they're just wilted then they'll likely come back really fast.. I've had a plant come back from a state where every leaf on it was dessicated/crumbling except a single emerging mutant shoot.. And that plant wasn't even healthy..
There is no point leaving dessicated leaves on there.. I don't know if they'll drwa water away from healthier tissue or not, but it can't help anything..

Right on bro. I hear you on that. Do you think it will get back to flowering and back on track best it can? I have some seedlings that are in their 2nd week. They are on a 18/6 cycle and the plant that is in question is on 12/12. So I cannot put them together. I'm debating on whether it is best to just move on and clear the main grow room for the new seedlings, or keep them out and give my little girl a chance to flower. I just throw it out there to see what opinions are. I've got the newbie syndrome, but I'm working on it. The seedlings are in a tray with a heat mat underneath. I placed the whole thing in a clear tupperware to maintain humidity. I suppose I'll give it a while longer. Only time will tell. I'm just debating on whether I'm wasting my time since the plant has been shocked and won't continue to flower. Or maybe it will surprise me like you said. It is all educational for sure...

Interesting... I dig the name by the way! Too funny. I think I should get a pic up for you. Since you can compare it to yours. Was it during flowering? Mine is in early flower stage. I'm worried about the harvest. My biggest thought is whether I should continue with it, or move in the new seedlings and see how they do. I'll get a pic on here and you can throw out your 2 cents. Appreciate the response!

Mine was just a mother plant, maybe 6mo old I think.. Stress like that at that time will likely hurt your yield quite a bit, but revegging can take a bit of time.. If I had a fresh healthy plant to fill its spot I'd probably just ditch it really.. Nursing it anyway isn't the most productive use of time/area.. Then again, degree is a serious consideration.. 'ran over by a truck' is so vague (and grammatically incorrect )..

If it were my plant I'd go for giving it water to see if it can recover, it doesn't look that bad at all, especially for your tank and roots drying out. Give it some tlc for a few days to see. afew days to check it out cannot hurt anything at all. If it looks like it is starting to drink water then feed her your bloom regiman to get her back on track. good luck

The temp fluctuates 74-78 F. Humidity is 20% There is a small fan blowing 24/7. Temp in darkness drops to 67-72 F. The PH was at 5.7. You think I should bring it up to 6.0? They have a light nute solution. 850ppm of bloom and micro. Any suggestions?

next time you have to leave town, get a 5 gal water jug. Connect it to a hose and put the end of that hose at the desired water level of the res. It will act like those automatic dog or cat water dishes with the bottle on top. That should buy you a few extra days next time.

Dam good call! I certainly will. The new batch will be going into the hydro and I'll have new worries. Any suggestions on leaving a hydro set up for 3-5 days? Always new challenges I have learned my lesson with the aero.
