outdoor grow question Orgeonians...

So i can no longer grow inside with a bagseed at about a month and a blue cheese sprout at about a week,sorry no pics for hardiness and such. but is it possible that they would survive (not even grow just survive) outside if i put them outside for awhile for a couple days to aclimatize them to the cold? plan on planting them along a tree line for shelter and with the southern exposure...

what is your temps cuz its been freezing here. last few mornings have been o k no freezes.sun is starting to come up a little earlier every day. can't wait to drop my bitches in the holes. LOL

heh in the early morns just above freezing but its getting better, i might do some guerulla stuff to get to a lower elivation, though the farmers almanac for the area says that average frost date cut off for the area is early to mid march, this is just the main plant i wanted i'm waiting to germ a bunch of others too.

if i were you i would put them out in the day and then bring them in at night, but if thats not possible then you have no choice but to put them outside, so if you were using cfl's or a low watt bulb then i would try and put them in the shade for a few days t harden them off but its probably not nessasary, as long as it isnt freezing then they should survive, frost at night is ok as long as they can warm up during the day, years ago on my first grow i had a few plants that i left under a deck all winter where they got maybe an hour of direct light a day and ill be damed if they didnt make it through and then start growing in the spring, the one week old one might not make it but the other probably will

Dude, they WILL die if you leave them outside overnight right now.

Like fat sam said, try to put them out during the day and bring them in at night. I have lost plants because of temperatures even in the low 40's. Is there anywhere you can keep them inside right now? Even in a place that is not getting much light is better than trying to put your babies outside in February!

well i can't think of a place but i'll find one anyway cuz its not worth losing now that its started, i'll just relocate indoors and wait till at least sometime in march, though the both have had lots of shock to toughen them a little.
