Top44 grow ** PICS COMING TODAY ** Massive growth!!

I am taking pics of my first grow today. I have 6 top44 1 week into flowering with one showing female preflowers.

I was surprised how fast the things grew once i switched to 12/12, i had to raise the lights every day as some were gaining 2 inches daily!

I will try to take a close up of the female pre flowers on one plant so more experienced growers can confirm for me. Basically, i see 2 tiny, almost minute white hairs begining to grow at some of the nodes. I have read that the fourth node down is usually the first to show but with mine it it everything above that that is springing to life.

One of the problems i have is inconsistency due to only having one 250w hps. Two of my plants (including my new baby girl) are around 18 inches tall while the other 4 are a foot at most. So if anyone notices when i post the pics, i allready know what i did wrong. next time i shall ROTATE!!!! lol

Ok so... i had some trouble with multiple attatchments and just wasted loads of time on a detailed post. so to avoid any more i am going to put each pic up seperatly with comments.kk? right!

in this pic you can see my set up. The space is small i know, and crowded but it seems to be working just fine for now. I have a single 250w hps, a kick ass fan and some soil. thats about it. haha. of course i got ferts and suchlike but i wanted to keep it simple and organic.

ok so in this pic it is day 5 of flowering. The huge level of growth i saw made the plant almost look tired and droopy, they also look a little over watered.

Here are my plants this morning. As you can see the are all diferent heights. i forgot to rotate the plants and the two on each side at the front were in the middle recieving most of the light. the big plant on the right is the one showing fem pre-flowers.

This is The plant showing the pre-flowers. I am completely gutted that my camera is two shitty to show you her pistils.

I am really surprised that my strongest grower turned out to be female as i read that males tend to grow taller and fiercer but i suppose the placement of the plants under my light effected the growth.

rep is for when you see a post you like or for people who deserve it for putting the time and effort in. mainly for people who are making good contributions... also if you like a grow/grower for the work they put in you rep them.. you can also return the rep if someone reps you to show them you appreciated it...

dont know what it does exactly (not too phased really), read the faq

but it shows a few things people are making good contributions and they deserve it... it also makes people feel appreciated and like what you did was worth something...

rep is not there to make additional accounts and make yourself look good cos if caught out youll be made look like a dummy lol.

also the neg rep was taken away cos people who didnt like something someone said would neg rep and abuse the system hense its gone..

Glad your growing T44 like me , my first grow too and got T44 because it suppose to be great for beginners like me.
I would have gotten a strain the first time that was going up more then out.
But its all good in how much I've learned in 3 months

nice, will do! i've been following your grow. those buds are lookin nice! unlike you though i barely gave the plants time to veg, i put them under 12/12 when they had 6 nodes so my yeilds will probably be lower than yours.

i have 6 plants, i hope i get at least 3 females!

just put the plants to bed. i think another 3 are showing signs of pistils but it is still very early!

its wierd, every time i turn the lights off the smell of chlorophil becomes very apparant! My landlord is coming next week! hope he doesnt smell them, i cant afford a carbon filter or similar device and at the moment i make do with the window, incense and an ozone light!

ya gotta remember to leave your name just in case they decide to rep ya back..

also to major tom... i find most weed is the same difficulty to grow so i wouldnt base your choices to them alone just a higher yielder is prolly best leaves a noob more room for error

dont get me wrong there are strains that are harder to grow and can be just damn right fussy but they are a weed and they will grow in just soil and water dont over fertilize and youll be smoking some of your own quality heads in no time....
theres a lot more behind my reasoning but as long as you dont try jack herer or white widow strait off the bat ya should be right....


SHIVA is an awsome hearty fast growing train that i will however recommend to a noob or anyone that wants to grow a beautiful plant

omg! 5 of my plants look like they are developing buds at the tip!!! im just noticed and im really stoned, am i tripping???

Only 2 of my plants have shown female pre-flowers! ya'know the v shap pistil thing....
i cant see any obvious signs of a male either, even in the 1 that hasnt really shown!
