I have great success with using outdoor streams and lakes...
they contain a good ph and very great and impossible to beat taste,Understand if the pond has a large amount of fish and lets say cattle, and other farmers in the area use organic nutes on there (lets say wheat fields) then it runs off in your stock ponds it makes the water that much better, but if farmers are using weed killer to (kill weeds...lol) because they harvest the hay, then your weed will die after about two weeks

I only know this by expirence.. ALL FARMERS SHOULD USE ONLY ORGANICS ON LIVE STOCK FIELDS AND FUCK YOU IF YOU DON"T...

regardless ph test the water then you'll know what you'll need to do..

Do NOT pre mix your nutes if you don't have to...

I would say on the spot, and make a tea(tea's are highly recommend)

I see from your pics that you grow (at lease some) in soil. You've also said you don't use a ppm meter. When I feed my outdoor plants I will be using water from a stream. Do I need to res the water and mix it with nutes (planning on fox farm) or can I add nutrients on the fly when I water them? And I'm assume you watch you plants for signs of burn or under feeding, do you mainly stick to the recommended mix or do you advocate some derivative formula? I've got a ppm meter, is it worth the anal retentive checking and tweaking or can a guy be more relaxed with the ferts?

i have question for you master. working my first grow in soil(fox farm) 5 gallon bucket's in 4x4x8 box 400 hps bulb, used mh for veggie 35 day's. third week into flowering. been using sensi a&b for veggie, then blood bud and big bud and a&b for flowering. 1 barney's haze and two bag seed. they are loaded with bud's. question is how long do the plant's continue to grow. having to lLst them now. box is getting small.

well are you using hard water? looks good is that just on that one fan leave?

Sometimes your old leaves will die off, I wouldn't worry for now but if it spreads I suggest using RO water and test your PH every day you water. And if it forms into spots then try this... I suggest using a cal-mag nute for soil or hydro every time.

looks to be phosphous deficiency,or like master stated,the older leaves at the bottm do die off over time. if it doesnt spread to the other leaves than its nothing to be concerned about.

i have a plant in flowering, around 42 days into flower about 10 days ago i started noticing yellowing leaf edges at the tops of my plants, the plant seems healthy other than that but i havent been able to pinpoint what it is
ill post some pics for you to look at

how much longer does the strain have??? looks like a nute diff from flowering..but if ur flushing let it be

here is a pic from a couple of days ago of some of the buds, its my first grow but i think they still need at least 2 weeks, i have been flushing since i noticed the problem cuz i thought i mite have been nute burn
should i just keep flushing till the end or add some nutes....im planing on flowering for 60 days, do you think theyl be ready by then

First Grow using 11 26 watt 6500 k cfls, about 4-5 inches over my plants
I'm about 2 days under the lights about a week after germ.
My plants are in some organic soil
I have a couple of questions
1) When do I add food like miracle grow or whatever?
2) My plants are on a 18/6 cycle, temp is 73-77F and humidity is 60%, I water once a day.
My leafs are curling downward and have small yellow discoloration in the tips
3) Do I have to many lights

yup they need more time thats a satvia and some dont like to mch nutes...do a good flush 3 times the pot size with ph'ed water..then give her some bloom nutes ....what strain is that?? and what nutes are u useing??

NOW IM NOT TRYING TO JACK UR TREAD MASTER JUST HELPING WELL UR NOT ON.. ok to ansewr ur Q roll u should'nt have to feed tell about wk 3.. and then just give them 1/4 streng or less if ur going to use MG that shit will brun them up. Q2: are u giveing her food now??

Im not giving them anything but tap water that has set out for day or longer
and light. I just moved my lights up earlier, I was like 1-2 inches away before.

iv been flushing about a week now, shes 3 weeks to harvest and the problem i mentioned, should i keep flushing or give some nutes for the next watering or 2 and then flush again (i water every 3 days)
temps are 75-85F

Fan leaves are suppose to turn, you making them die (aka fall)

How good does your medium flow, if you put in 2 gallons does 1 3/4 come out?
If not I suggest using only one gallon..
You will be safe running the clearex every time, if your plants are over 3 feet tall I would use the amount it say's to on the bottle but if not I would only use half..

The best advice I can every give anybody about cutting when you think it's done, then wait another week, then it looks like it's about to die wait one more week

Thanks again. Yes, if I give 2 gallon, 1.75 comes out. Very airy medium. Gotta chop tomorrow, another brood waitin in the other room to come on over else I might wait. Plus, trichs = mostly milky, some clear, few amber. Do I want to chop when the soil is dry or does it matter if it's wet? Was gonna give straight water tonight @ 2 gallons per. And, last question, and this is for anybody, do you give 24 hrs of darkness before chop? I can do this but need to know in the next few hours.....

Any Question?? OK, here's the question. Since recent studies have found that Aloe Vera regenerates damaged cell structure..... would it be safe to assume that such would help development of new, growing cells,... causing plant growth to become 25% or more.?
Ending result, near double the size of the plant?

hi i am growing for my first time, i am using cfls, and growing in a stealth manor. my plant is about 2-3 weeks old and is barley growing. it seems stunned, and now the lower leafs r turning yellow. it is really small for a 2-3 week old plant, anyone know what is wrong with it, please help. i dont have pics but it has about 3 incomplete sets of leaves but only the bottom set of leafs are yellowing.

Thanks a lot Master and wacky... yea it's that leaf and the same node leave on the other side... but that one isn't nearly as bad, in fact, the other leaf started to go green, again, so now it's only this one.. which also starts looking like it's trying to repair itself.
I thought my PH was fine since i've been testing it once a week before adding water, but some how i got a ph spike and my water has been 7.5 recently... strange. It's city water, so maybe something was added.
Either way, got some PH down, added fresh 6.3 water in them, and thats why i think they started to come around.
