A temporary home for the refugees :P:

Box with mylar, with some friends (cucumbers):

A few days later, showing some growth:

Outfitting the intake fan:

Intake fan from the inside, exhaust adjacent on the other side:

Only running 2x 42w CFLs right now, more will come later:

A few more days of growth:

Door (made from sidepanel of computer chassis), hinge, latch:

Adding a carbon filter to connector duct:

A look from the outside (looks dirty from flash on camera :S)

Added more lights! But now I'm having heat issues, will probably have to cut vent holes in the top of the box.

I will keep this thread updated with pics frequently.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Yes the antec fans are great, very quiet but move plenty of air! However if the vents don't bring the temps down enough I may be forced to insert stronger fans.

First off, you're very welcome for the little plants. Thanks to you guys for taking them in and giving them a good home. I wish I would have had room for all of them, but at least they didn't have to make it to the garbage can. Glad to see my pestering has finally sunken in and a journal has been born. I will keep a strict eye on this grow. We should hopefully be harvesting around the same time. Best of luck to you gentleman.
Will you guys be cloning eventually or is this a one time go?

If all things go accordingly planned, me and skybike will definitely be constructing a micro DWC cloner

That is what I like to hear. Now all we do is hope that they have a little feminine touch. The trainwreck seeds that I germ'd were "feminine." I want to see how they actually do. Hopefully your AKs end up being a girls. I would imagine between our 6 there has to be at least 2 or 3 that will be girls. Imagine if all 6 ended up female :D :D

Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned about the following picture. Looks like the first true leaves on this plant are yellowing from the inside out..

The rest of them are doin pretty good so far.. :)
Temps are still a bit higher than I would like, idling at 29/30 Degrees Celcius. Humidity = 50%

This morning I went to go check on my babies and noticed the soil was a bit greener than usual. I suspect this to be mold, its occurring in small patches in 2/4 pots, but I fear it might spread. Can someone please confirm and advise what to do next, and how to prevent this from happening again. Thank you!

UPDATE: Turns out the green is just moss! And the leaf just has some light burns.

Plant 2:

I'm also experiencing some kind of deficiency I presume on another plant (3/4 - Not related to the moldy ones).
Its on a lower fan leaf and its the only one with those symptoms on the plant. The same conditions are applied as the above.

Here's a small overall update, I'll try to alternate the detailed and broad updates as not to make the thread so convoluted.

Received 2 Aqua Orbs today! Will be experimenting with them in the next couple days.

Overall decent growth, letting soil dry right the f@#! out to stretch those roots and avoid more moss (which has cleared up).

If I am not mistaken all his lights are 42W.
That moss was freaky looking. Got that shit under control?
Looks like you are getting some good solid growth. Roughly how tall are they now? It looks like you could force flowering shortly if you aren't worried about cloning to determine sex. Personally I want to find out my sexes before I start flower so that I can keep a couple mothers in my veg box. I'll post an update tonight. They have really been reaching for the lights recently.
