Ghosts, anyone?

my room has some sort of ghost in it. the first time anything happened was when I woke up in the middle of the night, and the desk by my bed was shaking a whole lot. books were coming off of it and out of the shelves and stuff. another time it happened was when I was telling my friend of the ghost and in the middle of it, a picture on my wall came flying off. the last and most recent one was when I was playing some music, and I turned it down all the way, and to my right I heard some chick speaking, and it sounded like she was on a stereo of some sort, kinda like a recorded voice. the only thing is that there were only pillows and clothes where the voice was coming from.

that's cool that you saw a ufo, I've seen one before.

Still with all that has gone on here I do not believe in ghosts per say but to many things that are totally inexplicable have happened here to totally rule out all possibility of some sort of entity or entities that are unworldly being involved.

BOO!
I had a thought that perhaps paranormal happenings aren't necessarily spirits of the deceased... perhaps there are creatures/beings we can't see, or operate on a different plane than we do... they're just like any other animal ... we just can't see 'em....

Your experiences are certainly an interesting read. Maybe there is something in your home... It doesn't seem to have problems with you, though. Just guests?

And a beautiful one at that. :) I took a class on Alzheimer's disease and one thing they've found... for some reason... is that music/songs seem to stick in people's brains. Why this is... they're not sure, but it is something to think about.

Alzheimer's is not really all that bad. At least you have the chance to meet new people everyday.

Perhaps beings from other dimensions? I've often thought that was possible, too.But I have a reputation as a skeptic to uphold, so I'm always questioning everything.

The time I saw a UFO... it was witnessed by thousands of other people, but I can't find any record of it. Videos of it appeared on the news, and that was a big deal because the small town I lived in was 400 miles away from the TV station that aired it and we were never on the news for anything.

Naturally someone looks for the most obvious explanation for such occurrences. Nothing at all odd ever happened in my home in the seven years previous to my mother’s death and it only began some months after her death.

Her picture showed up in an orb and whatever is here has been not only decent and interesting to me but also helpful that one time when I could not find mom’s tablecloth. It all seems to be connected to mom, or at least most of it.

The frightening aggressive things that have happened to friends that visited is totally out of character for anything mom would ever do for any reason so it is possible that something has taken advantage of mom having died in my home and has done things to lead me to believe it is mom but it could be something else, something demonic or possibly something extra-dimensional. It is impossible to know for sure.

One other orb occurrence that I remembered after having posted my previous message is one night just for an experiment I turned out the lights and took several pictures using my cameras flash and in one picture there was two orbs with what clearly looked like a black bat in each.

I took two pictures from the exact same position each time to see if there might be any duplication that could be explained by a natural reflection of the flash but the bat orbs only showed up in one of the two pictures taken from that exact same position so I ruled out any possible natural reflection from the flash creating the bat orbs.

There is just no knowing what is happening here. There is no test that is known to be accurate so it is not like I can purchase some ghost litmus strips or electronic gizmo to wave around and see what registers.

All I can do is attempt to play Sherlock Holmes and use deductive reasoning and eliminate as many possibilities as I can and whatever is left regardless of how improbable it may be has to contain the answer.

Have you read any of Richard Dawkins' books? While I don't agree with everything he says, he has a great way to approach things with a skeptical mind. Carl Sagan as well. Love them both.

We both knew the deal, I once saw an old man in the house one night also.
My friend lives in the house next door to that one and he's had all kinds of things happen.
Were you guys located near a body of water? I've read a lot of things where it was found paranormal activity is more prevalent near water sources.
