just upgraded my hood exhaust fan from an active air 4" inline to a 4" inline panasonic whisper flow. The difference seriously is like a 747 compared to a hybrid car. sitting next to my computer, the sound my computer fan makes drowns out the very quiet sound of air moving from my tent (3 feet away)

I would HIGHLY recommend one of these panasonic whisper lines to anyone over other noisy fans. The only down side I can see to whisperline is that it is way bigger than my old fan, but not so big it gets in the way hanging on the tent.

OLD FAN (Active Air)

NEW FAN (Panasonic)

feeling quite pleased with myself. time to celebrate har har har! :joint:

wow, those fans look really nice. Where did you discover them, and are they really that quiet??? Apparently you say yes, so i figured it is. How do we know its ok to run these fans 24/7 also?

i looked around a lot online in various forums and these fans came up recommended, what really sold me was one grower's reaction in his diy carbon filter post, "i thought it was broken at first when i plugged it in"

plus i'm into building pcs and panasonic has a line of pc fans that i really love for silence and durability too

the tent is definitely great, i would highly recommend it to anyone who has the space for it. its not QUITE what i was looking for because i retardedly under estimated the dimensions (Even though i looked at them before i bought it)
OMG ...Thank You! So I am not the ONLY one that missed how massive these really are.
I measured the room and it would just hold a SunHut XL and XXL perfectly.
Well I was using 4x4 ft and 4x8ft as the footprint. The outside dimensions are NOT the same ... bigger by about a foot and a half per side

I now have the XXL in the room by itself and will be setting up the XL one in my bedroom. Luckily I am a confirmed bachelor and don't have to worry about the old lady getting upset. lol

Thanks for sharing your grow.

:peace: peace and blessings

The one I have is called a "Secret Jardin DR120" as far as I know there are models ranging from the DR80 to DR240, and the number denotes centimeters. I measured it today and mine is exactly 3'11", which is about 120CM, so the advertised dimensions are what you get on these Secret Jardins. Hopefully this helps you plan your setup better. I am such a fan of my tent though, that I may end up buying another tent for a permanant veg chamber har har! This is way down the line though...i can only dream :)
