vanity lighting from a thrift store (or even bought new) and y connectors from like ace-hardware or home depot or whatever you shop at for stuff like that... fairly easy to put together for a novice too... it just might not *as* pretty... lol

did you ever get that air pump? i'm contemplating getting the 60 watt version with 8 outlets. i was just wondering how you liked it and how your buying experience was with those people :)

i'm thinking i may order mine today. purchasing one unit seemed more economical than buying multiple units and gang valves. efficiency. that's what i'm talkin bout. less stuff to break on me too :)

if they are sold out, pm me; i've found a manufacturer... the product is less expensive initially, but add shipping and it's more than on ebay; so far ebay has the best price.

hey bb, the containers are about 8'' to the bottom of the lid (maybe a lil more). res temps range from 21-24c, never higher, and i'd planned on letting them get 6'' tall, then flower. right now, the tallest is about 16''..... so, we're gonna have another giant shrub to contend with :mrgreen:

just 8"????? wow this grow i have to see. are you going to do any root pruning? i use a 8" deep tote (6" of water) for my clones and by the end of week 3 (14ish") they have no room for any more roots at all and they will start to die off from not enough air in the matted up root systems. the tub will be completely filled with 1 massive root ball. ill see if i can find a pic of what im talking about , its kinda hard to explain just how full the tubs get with roots.

i think we are useing about the same size containers. mine is 3'x2'x8" (LxWxH). im useing bigger 5" net pots, 2x24", and 2x12" air cutains but other than that its pretty compairable.
i couldnt find the root ball pic on this computer, but ill check my laptop later. the 1 month old pic below are when the roots were starting to cut off air flow to the upper part of the root ball. in the week 2 pic the plants had just been put into the hydroton and pots and started to root good.

hey these are looking good, kp. i was planning something very similar.

are these clones? how much veg will you give before flowering? i was planning 5 to 10 days of veg, and lollipop 'em since its SWC.
