My Hibiscus are having heat issues. Flowers falling off.
My gardens are dry as well, things looking stressed out. We have a water ban bylaw in effect from June to October, I can only water once per week on Wednesdays between certain hours of the day.
I do use rain water and hand waer when I can. I do have some flowers that still look good.
These look neat, have you ever seen a double decker cone flower?
Check em out,
Flowers is fun
Nice shots fdd and Chiceh....the only problem that I am having with rain is too much of it...powdery mildew is having a blockbuster year....major battle with it on some of my plants....Jap beetles are also going berserk munching away...
It is hard to believe that we are in the home stretch of this season....
Here is my one sunflower plant, and one of my beds...
Thanks fdd....I am very happy with this strain of New Guinea Impatiens....(Park Seeds) in some other beds they are almost three feet tall and still growing and flowering...I started 'em from seeds back in late Feb.but the orange is really cool.
These are two plants of same strain.....powdery mildew has attacked all of my plants this year....bummer
