Yeah man... I originally planted all 5 with the mind set that after the 1st couple of weeks, I would simply weed out the weaklings and keep 2 or 3 of the best ones. Okay, well I dont know if youve ever tried to do this yourself but..... I couldnt do it.... i'd be killing my babies!!! Basically I couldnt go through with the abortion... ha! I thought I was PRO-CHOICE, who the fuck knows now...

In reference to reading through threads.. I know exactly what u mean. I try to be good and read everything but its impossible. You cant have a life if your in this motherfucker all day!!!! ahhhhhh. almost as addictive as smokin... but not quite! Oh and yeah I went ahead and turned off the pump.. but not all the time. I turn it off and on randomly. who knows anyway...

What's the word there? Erm.. the purpose of shutting off the pump? Wouldn't just leave the water to stagnate? I guess the air stones are still pumping?

The air pump isn't oxygenating the water its supplying the roots with water if they haven't broken into the water yet.

Once they are in the water all you need is an airstone in the res, no need to use the pump.


Pumping extra water to the base of the stem is just going to agitate the plant and cause root/stem rot.

yup... that seems to be the general consensus around here... Like I said I alternate it anywayz... I DONT turn it off all the time... Ill shut it off for a couple days then start it back up again.... well see what happens...


and yes.. the AirStone is always on.

When I open the closet door today I realized that one of my clamp lights had fallen and hit my babies!!! Now worries though. It some how missed major stems and only took out one thin secondary limb from one of the weaker plants. It also burned a few leaves. Overall I think its all good. It was scary though....


Nothing new to update other than that. They are doing well and I hope I start seeing sex soon. Its been about 6 days since I flipped to 12/12 and swapped to flowering nutes...
