ya then if you have a means of pulling in fresh air ya that's the best way to go.
im pretty sure i grasp the concept. although I AM A STONER.. hahahaha LOL
i wont actually have a fan pulling air in.. the bottom of the triangle that is built around the window will be open.. so it will only actually be 2 walls im building, that when pushed against the wall, will create a triangle.. and the window itself will be cracked open... the 2 walls of the triangle that i actually built will have a few 4 to 6 inch holes in it that will be used to passively bring in air... make sense?? the fans i am using will pull air in passively through the holes by pushing air through the lights and creating a negative pressure in the grow room... thus i dont have to worry about the "woosh" sound you get from air intake... ill draw it out a little and post a pic.. but more than likely tomorrow.. not so much in the mood to draw tonight... can barely open my eyes.. LOL
hey samy i thought id show you the seed progress.they are growing wright along. just put them in the green house yesterday see if i can't get the to bounce up to 2ft in a couple weeks. when that happens its sex city baby.....lots of sexing......LOL
seedlings look good!! cant wait to see them once they are fully grown up... are you gonna put them inside to flower or leave them outside??

so a little update on the grow...
i lost another BB sprout today... pretty much my fault.. i didnt have the rockwool cube down far enough that it could absorb enough water during the flood stage... i actually noticed it was dieing the other day... and tried to lower it.. but it was too late.. the heat is playing a big part in it.. i cant believe the extra heat produced by the grow bulbs.. let alone how it will be when i get the 400's in.. but i did do some new exhaust work to try to tame the heat issue for now.. i ended up running the exhaust line from the fan in the veg room into the "dumping" closet i am setting up... so at least all the heat is being exhausted into there now.. and i set up the carbon fan to blow the hot air up into the attic... still dont have it ducted exactly like i want.. but its a start..
onto good news tho... all the clones and other seedlings are starting to come out of shock and show new growth.. although on the clones the growth was a little yellowish due to lack of nutes available... there really wasnt shit for nutes because i wanted to go easy and not burn them... so today i changed out the resevoir... i used 1/2 strength nutes this time... my EC before the nutes was around .4 to .6.. it was bouncing.. so the filter is starting to pull out more setiment.. i guess i will run that water through it slower and see if it helps more.. anyways, after adding the nutes to the 30 gallons of water i planned on using i ended up with an EC of 2.0 and a ph of 6.8.. i added 10 more gallons of water, which brought the EC down to 1.6 and then used PH down to get to 6.0.. i wanted a little higher EC since they girls are going to start eating through them... and it was nice to have the PH start out that low.. it makes me hopeful i wont need gallons of PH down...
temps hanging around 90F above the lights.. but i expect to see that drop with the exhaust work the way it is now.. and it should drop more once the HID lights are set up because the fan should run even more efficiently.. plus i have 3 fans and and the a/c going to keep circulation up until i can get the whole problem under control..
i am going to post some new pics here in a few days.. i pretty much am trying to get the new lights installed before taking pics.. unless over the next day or so HUGE growth takes place.. its just not worth postin the little change i can see, but you prolly wont...
