Just thought I'd mention FROM EXPERIENCE WITH BRICKS IN South America...

Ammonia is not used for anything...

It is a byproduct of pressing uncured buds...

And if it is really bad... upon arrival... "they" usually soak it all in Isopropyl alcohol and set fire to it...

It burns away the ammonia and any mold that might have started without any "apparent" damage to the buds...

Now... I thought you were looking for more strains... didn't you start a thread trying to find the C99?

But you grow mexican brick seed?

Under cfls?

I don't think I will ever buy any strains to grow out ever again..

I have 30-40 seeds from 5-6 different varieties of mexican seeds ranging from super light green minty smelling stuff to buds I have gotten with dark almost black leaves on the buds.

Plus I have a bunch of seeds from my own cross (grapefruit plant x thai super skunk).

Never said I wasn't going to buy awesome genetics, just said I wasn't going to buy any strains to specifically grown out and use on their own.

I am always down for making crosses with stuff I am looking for.

I'm not really after cindy-99 bud to smoke I want cindy-99 pollen/fem to stabilize my cross.

I also think you are under-estimating my mexican seed collection, I don't just go buy brick bud with seeds in it.

I hand pick the seeds that I keep only from the biggest nugs I find of stuff that smokes the best, not everyday schwag sacks.

I give all my seeds a good crush test, if I can press my finger on it and the seed doesn't crack, its a keeper.

Keeping seeds from 'dro' or whatever you want to call high quality bud that was intended to be sensimilla isn't really a good idea if you are trying to find stable breeding parents.

There is a really good chance that seed is going to be a hermi because if you got bud with seeds in it it was an accident which most likely was from a rogue male or some hermi, neither of which you want in your garden, rogue male could have been a runt plant, or some entirely different strain that you have no clue of its heritage. Only makes your seed 50% of whatever strain the bud is.

Mexican brick weed is almost 100% guaranteed stable SATIVA landrace genetics, great candidates for true breeding parents.

thanx fellas..my fans were starting to bronze and yellow,crumbly in between veins,,i checked the ppm and it was 800..raised it with dry koolbloom to 1200..This should do the trick

i would also get the diamond nectar and the floralicious plus..That floralicious will make em BOOM!

lol, I just posted it in the other thread. floranova nutes, tap water starts at 150 add nova grow it totals 750 and after I add the floralicious plus its 800ppm.

thanks purp!yea i only got like $40 to spend on this and those 3 add up to about $26 so if i cant get both of those which one should i get the diamond nectar or the floralicious? allso where do u buy your nutrients from online any place with real good prices?

hell yea man the Dry koolbloom..1.5 grams per gallon to make ppm go up 200 points!Its more potent than the liquid.I use both.I highly recommend the dry koolbloom..makes it real easy to up the ppm.

i'm planning on picking up the floranectar and koolbloom today.. i was looking at the GH "Expert feeding" chart, and saw the dry is for ripening, and the liquid is for blooming. is that how YOU used the products?? what about your grow would you attribute to these two? would you say your buds look bigger because of one of them... or they smell sweeter... or more trichomes?? what do you say?

they tell you how to veg weed.but not flower in those charts...id say the koolbloom..liquid and dry makes em swell more..but you gotta go by your ppm when flowering..because none of those charts are for flowering!You will have the wrong ppm towards the end of flower.Gotta keep track of that!

Would you say this system is better than areopnics?

Can you give a list of nuts that you use during veg and flower please.

Are you using co2?

how many watts per plant are you using?
