all comments much appreciated and needed. i'd like to start by saying Thank You.
I currently Live Near the Equator, in a tropical place similar to South America and/or lots like Hawaii. It is a rainy season right now and will be till January. The climate is consistantly upper 60's to upper 80's with HIGH humidity, sunlight and rain.
I have a very safe/secluded spot in the woods/jungle area near where i live that i believe would be perfect for growing, but the soil is shit (so i would dig a giant patch out and fill it back up with 60% potting soil mixed with 40% decent soil from another location). and there are lots of Slugs around (that seems to be the only type of animal besides the occasional spider that lives in this location) not to mention with the season we are in and the humidity there is mold most everywhere. but would it spread to the new patch of land i build with new soil? and would slugs be attracted to any of the plants and harm them?
OR
is it better to grow indoors, i dont know all the equipment need to grow indoors and growing procedures, so i would really like to keep this an outdoor project but i need your expert advice if anything would grow in this enviornment and with the seeds i am planning on using.....
The seeds i plan on using, im not sure where they originated from but they were gathered by my friend in random bags of Mid-grade and Nug's in the Oklahoma area.....Will these seeds which were probably used to indoor growing be able to produce a good crop outdoors in this type of climate with humidity and fungus/mold in the area? and would it be smart to start growing right now (mid july) because what i hear is outdoors takes 90-120 days which would put it right in line with hitting the darker cycle and right in line for advised harvest time
