Tough to say...is the badseed from a Sativa or Indica plant...probably don't know. A sativa grown well can grow over 5 feet outdoors.is a good bag seed capable of being a 5 foot outdoor plant?

nothing wrong with them bro...
I'm a Gypsy... by blood and spirit... roots in old India and Romania...
it's just an expression I use to make fun of myself when I talk too much...
no dis-respect intended, or I would be offending my own kind
and check out HTG.. they'll do you good ...
Have fun Bro...I'll be back later after I drive myself crazy at htg. Peace
Have fun Bro...
oh and we've been good from the start..
I just wanna see you grow some dank...
Yup.. you're on the right track...So help me out here gypsy. I just looked at the lumen output for a 600w hps lamp, wow! What a difference. A comment that I heard on here struck the truth chord inside of me just like when you said go hid if you want to grow the best. Light is the plants food, everything else is supplements.
Digital...The ballast you have, is it a digital or magnetic?
HTG takes advantage of the ballast not being sealed to add an internal fan...Cool to the touch sounds good to me and I really appreciate the tip about sealed ballasts like the galaxy, no wonder it's painted.
I recommend a sealed hood with 2 flanges... so you can have the air cooling separate from the op's airmass...What I'm really interested in is the reflector. I want something that is going to have a way to vent the air, preferably in a sealed hood.
I have an easy cool 8... I like the big reflector area...I'm looking at the euro and the easy cool6. as an upgrade.
You are right.. it does not...It doesn't appear that the maxwing they offer with the system has vent holes? Do you know if it does?
Well, yes and no. I'm going to have a room about 12 by 12 available, soon hopefully, a week or three??? There is no air conditioning in this room, but the access to my attic is through the closet in the room. I'm thinking about either sectioning off a 4x4 or 5x5 area. I can use two of the existing walls and that way only need to add two. The sealed reflectors seem to me to be the best way to keep the heat of the light off your plants so I plan on going with an air cooled reflector, probably the easy cool6. As to the exhaust fan, no decision on that. If the fan is strictly being used to remove the heat from the hood, how much cfm does one actually need? I have plenty of fans for air movement in the room. I plan on running my exhaust through my access panel venting it into the attic and pulling in air from another room. I can run a vent from inside my closet into the other bedroom using the air in this room to go into the other. I know it won't be a big help but it will help. How many plants does one have to grow before they actually need a carbon filter? I can smell my plants as soon as I open my bedroom closet but I can't smell them on the other side of the door. My closet now exhausts into the attic and can't smell anything outside either. The chief of police lives on the next street over. I can just about see his house through my back yard. Questions, questions...Yup.. you're on the right track...
Digital...
I have 2 of this exact model... one came with a cool tube and the other with an easy cool 8

The aluminum body stays cool to the touch the whole time...

But it's got the 8" flange , easily remedied by 8" duct with an adapter at the fan if needed...
I looked at the easy cool 6 and the euro hood... but I went with the bigger reflector...
You are right.. it does not...
That is just a standard reflector...
what fan are going to use?
do you have a plan for the setup yet?
Perfect..!!!Well, yes and no. I'm going to have a room about 12 by 12 available, soon hopefully, a week or three???
Are you in hot country? must be... talking about AC...There is no air conditioning in this room, but the access to my attic is through the closet in the room.
Are you doing soil? hydro?I'm thinking about either sectioning off a 4x4 or 5x5 area.
Sounds like you can use your head.. seems rare these days...I can use two of the existing walls and that way only need to add two.
That'll work...The sealed reflectors seem to me to be the best way to keep the heat of the light off your plants so I plan on going with an air cooled reflector, probably the easy cool6.
Al B Fuct recommends a minimum of 200 cfm for air cooling the lights...As to the exhaust fan, no decision on that. If the fan is strictly being used to remove the heat from the hood, how much cfm does one actually need?
Sounds good... for MOST ops, a passive intake is fine...I have plenty of fans for air movement in the room. I plan on running my exhaust through my access panel venting it into the attic and pulling in air from another room.
not sure I follow...I can run a vent from inside my closet into the other bedroom using the air in this room to go into the other. I know it won't be a big help but it will help.
The question is more like ...How many plants does one have to grow before they actually need a carbon filter?
Kinda like asking the baker if he can smell bread...I can smell my plants as soon as I open my bedroom closet but I can't smell them on the other side of the door.
Not by your house... but what about 3 houses down...My closet now exhausts into the attic and can't smell anything outside either.
Prolly safer there than most...The chief of police lives on the next street over. I can just about see his house through my back yard. Questions, questions...
Pasco County here. Just starting this new Indoor grow operation.
get the light!OK, your point is made about odor control but right now I just can't afford to get both the light and the fan and filter. It's going to be $274 with shipping for the light.
Sound ok to me..My intake I could draw from my bedroom into the other bedroom and exhaust out through my attic access.
Based on what???I have to disagree with your pic of the exhaust.
Why?To my understanding you shouldn't push air through the filter,
Ah!I read somewhere where they are designed for air to be drawn through them, not pushed.
Soil is like magik to me...I'm doing soil grows, I like playing in the dirt.
Nice...I'm thinking of starting my next batch in half gallon grow bags and then just cutting the bottoms out of them come time to transplant and put them into two gallon grow bags.
6 to a half a dozen...Just looked into Jorge Cervants bible. The pic he shows, and there's a big chapter on air, has the filter an inline fan and then ducting and then an extraction fan at the end of the ducting.
Go with what you know Brother... it's your grow after all....So it's pretty easy to see the air is being sucked through the filter, not pushed. Just my two cents.
I see no need to... unless your op is in a dirty/dusty place..As a matter of fact he also recommends that you change the pre-filter every sixty days.
Sounds like a healthy value for a good op...Keep your relative humidity below 55%,
Well...at sixty five to seventy the filter collects moiture and clogs. At eighty it stops working completely.
You're doing better than me, all of my jars are empty...but not for long now.<RANT>
Damnit damnit damnt!!! Impatience i going to be my undoing. I'm sitting here looking at my babies, They look better than they did after comming home from being gone 4 days. Aparently Neem oil can cause problems as it killed 80% of the leaves on two of my plants, but the others were quite happy. I really really really want to water them, baby them, do something to make them grow more and faster, but I know it's a bad idea! Another month at least until flower and I have 2 sad little buds left in my jar, I'm going out of my mind. Patience sucks!
