flowering + reps

i got a couple questions and i need serious answers and not dumb shit. i had my plant in 12/12 since 6-21-09 and it finally showed sex at 7-10-09, why is it that i see plant that are the same amount of time and have plenty pistils and creating buds already and mine is only getting pistils on the 2 tops and top 2ndary nodes, it kind of pisses me off about that . im usind a 400w bulb on it as well its been toped and also its been fem`d its a female plant as well. and when will buds start growing in as well ? and should i lower the night hours from 12 to 10? i just need some advise about it thats all. pics below and i will give reps out as well

Just leave the light schedule at 12/12, it is the optimal ammount of light to produce the best nugs for flowering.

And Your plant will fill out and show more bud sites over time. It all depends on conditions and strain but don't worry, if you have done your home work everything will be cool and your plant will eventually get nugz everywhere.

Don't forget that your plants will probably grow 2-3 times the size throughout flowering, so you will see plenty of weed

it could just be a slow starter,when did you top it,if you did it right before flowering it could of just taken a minute to bounce back.and if stretched from 20-30 that means its gonna bud,its the plant making more room for its flowers(buds).im sure itll turn out great,good luck.

yep-ita all depends on a strain too-how fast will it flower and shit.also-remember tu use good nutes 4 flowering, so that P and K should be high and N low.if you want-good organic shit is ash-high with P-dust it around your soil

shes showing already but i want it to kinda hurry up because im almost in 4 weeks of 12/12 also i toped it at 20 inches and shes 34 inches now and im using a low colour mh bulb the one i used for veg was 5000k and for flowering im using like a 3900k and as for nutes im using a hydrophonics solution from techniflora stealthy hydo of -10-19-27

3900k is a little high in the light spectrum,you should switch to something like 2700k.this could be one of the reasons its taking a while to bud.3900k will work but wont get as big of buds with a better spectrum.

I'll add this: make sure there's no light leaking into the grow room during the dark period.

I dont start worrying about buds size and all that until about week 4. By week 4 you should be able to make an assumtion on what your buds will look like in the coming weeks. That strain also looks very sativa. So you may not see any good bud formation until week 5-6. MJ grows so fast It sometimes surprises me. They go thru alot when that light switches off, stretching, producing resin, forming calyxs. You may also have a light leak which is slowing down development.

I had always heard you can put HPS to MH Ballast of same watts but not the other way around, hope you are not doing something thats gonna be detrimental in the future. If works, "grow" for it.

i only heard and seen that you can only put a mh in a hps ballast and not the other way around ,but i have no clue why it works better like this but its runing a hps tho.

it could be a ballast that runs both mh and hps.they also have conversion bulbs so you can use the same ballast.iwould say you have one of these
