that set ups pretty fucking legit man. I like how you have your cfl's hanging from chains like that. you're the first person I've seen to do that. probably the cleanest cfl setup I've seen. +rep

thanks alot man. so many other cfl growers use their lights vertical pointing at the plant. i just wanted to try something new and have them hanging directly horizontal to the plant making it more efficient. having them on a chain makes them easier to lift/lower as well. all in all im using every minute as a learning experience as this is my first grow. check out my journal in my sig

cfl is an art form any one can grow under an hps but it takes a artist to grow under cfls

you have to realy know you subject. now this is not a thread for bashing hps.

Mine were plenty tight, not the heaviest I've seen (given Im just going through my first grow now, and it was a hard road, so I got great results in my case). ive learned you can never have enough or too many, keep em close as possible.

80 26w will do very well, the bigger the better on the CFLs tho.

CFLs do suck the juice tho 80 26w CFLs use 28amps alone. 1.13amps for the 68w ones I got 60amps available in a 125amp panel.:fire:

just finished second harvest with 6 48 watt cfls. bud smelled amazing, lemony smell(from bagseed) had all these amazing hairs that were covered in crystal, but airy as fuck! under all those hairs was like a mid sized airy nug, each cola. and i had them sooo close the whole time and used some bomb nutes. all i can can conclude that cfls produce airy buds that smell nice but disappear quick. still great if your broke though might switch to 250 hps see if i get dense buds....
