How doable is 4oz per plant?

If i wanted to yield 4oz per plant dry. SOIL GROW...
How long would i need to veg approx. under 600MH and if it was under 600~800 watt HPS for flowering, How many plants can i fit under there hoping to yield 4oz per plant. Im hoping to harvest about 2lbs per harvest since im planning to harvest once a year or so and that would be enough for me to smoke. Would 800 watts cut it?
Trying to think of a way to be in legal limits under 8 plants and harvest about 2lbs dry harvest.
Space isnt a issue. I prefer mixing strains strong head high and strong knockout body high..
Any input would be nice.

4 oz or dry bud.......thats gonna be a big plant bro. its gonna have to yield 12 oz of wet damn near to give you 4 oz of dry.

4 oz per plant is very easy. Check out my grow below.
I veg under T5 for 11 weeks And on the 9th week I take clones.

I put them (4) under one 600 hps and 5 days later I saw flower tops.
I should get atleast 4 oz per plant, Hoping for one of them to beat my 7.5 oz.

The thing is when you veg hard and long you will see them (once mature) start blowing out every node and growing riducoulusly FAT, and fast. Well when that happens you kinda sit back and see how far they can go.
The longer the veg the Heavier the yeild, and better the High.

Yes I clone after 9 weeks and the clones are still in veg. There Big and Beautiful and smelly. They have 30 -40 days left in veg. Waiting on flower room to empty out.

The Mothers are in Flower and they will put out 4-7.5 per plant. I hope closer to 7.5, break my old record.

The clones I hope to get a oz more per plant, once 12/12 rolls around.

Take a look at my nutes, and Yeah could be lights. What where you useing, like cfl right? But you have the tight grow for cfls huh.
Going to check your grow out again after dinner.

It will be very difficult to get 2 pounds of dried bud off of 800 watts. Not impossible but may take decades to perfect. Yield size is primarily a factor of vegetative growth. IE the longer you veg, the bigger the plant will be. Personally I grow 8-12 plants under 800 watts, Last harvest was 1LB 2 oz. I vegged for 0 days, went from rooted clone straight into flower. Total Flower time is 60 days. Veg for 2 months and you may get 2 pounds, but time wise I can produce more than you by growing smaller crops at a higher frequency.

FWIW theres nothing more gratifying than growing a MONSTER tree with huge buds on it, everyone should do at least one. Once you get monster grows out of your system you find the smaller grows are much easier to do.

Time wise you may have him beat, if you don't get a case of spider mites, now that would be a bitch to clear up with so many plants.
I like a longer veg time and way less plants because of that reason, and also it's cheaper on Labor and materials.

awesome thread!!!.. I think Im going to do a clone and throw to flower like he did... Like he said quicker n faster harvest... But people do it diff and thats the way im going to do.... I might do 2 plants every week so I can harvest 2 plants every week... So put 2 plants in every week till you hit 8 weeks and once you hit the 8 weeks you'll have a harvest every 2 weeks of 2 plants making say 3-4 oz per plant...so thats 6-8 oz every week...

I guess my setup I will be doing 2 600watt digital lights.... ebb system...

Thats 16 weeks from rooted clone to harvest. FIMing should be done as early as possible to get the maximum benefit from it. So basically anytime after the plant has 4 true sets of leaves.
