THELOADEDDRAGON'S 2009 Outdoor

I think the plant in pic 1 is purple power..Were in for some cooler weather, hope your doing good..:weed:

thanks, I will keep taking pics of them until they are finished..... I am doing fairly fairly well... :D .... cooler weather+ family+ work+ goood food+Good Smoke+RIU= Super Stoked TLD :)

Dragon, I love your garden man....thanks for all the help and I hope all turns out well for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure all will go well with both of our grows.... I was suprised to see some of the posts on your thread.... was a good laugh anyway ;)

Hello Dragon/Hodgegrown-
The cooler temp are a blessing! 68.5 degrees at 10am, thats 20 degrees below what we have been running. All us Cali growers are loving life today, unless one of those "thunder storm cells" are parked over you, then maybe not so much.
Dragon- When the weather cools a bit i will be more then happy to help out with those trees. I'm not a very good worker when the weather is hot (too fat and old).
Breakfast is ready, got to go.....

Yea cooler weather!
Treemansbuds_

Cooler Weather :D :D :D...... it was hot as hell :fire:........ now its so much easier working longer outside :)...... got lots done, and lots to do....... I have a full plate, but am already looking at desert ;)

I don't usually take pics this late in the day......

watering them tomorrow first thing in the morning :)....... lots of water :).... nutes on Wednesday.....

Im putting a circulating fan and two sets of 4' t5's up sometime in the next couple of days to go on during daylight ours for supplemental lighting on the light deprived side angle.....

they have loved the cool weather.... though its supposed to warm back up over the next couple of days...

I know I still haven't strung them up.... and Im glad I hadn't yet... I probably won't for another week or so.... maybe longer....

Right now I am just debating whether I want to use fiberglass panels, glass, or 2ml clear plastic as siding and roofing for the greenhouse Im about to build..... anyone want to carry a conversation on about that???

I do know that I won't use 2 ml for siding, and that I won't use glass for roofing.....

well guess all the pics won't fit in this post.....

Hello Dragon-
Looking Beautiful my friend, your a hard working man these days. Closer to normal temps next week, then 100's again by next weekend, yuck!
The kids back in school, YEA!, i got more "me" time now.

Give me a buzz, or pm me
Treemansbuds-

TLD, when taking clones under a humidity dome, how many times per day do you mist them?

How often do you take the dome off and mist it (I assume when it no longer looks humid and has water droplets clinging to the sides?)

And finally, how often do you wet the medium itself directly?

I have been misting the clones about 2-3 times daily and allowing the medium to dry out before wetting it again directly (with flower nutes, diluted at 1/4 strength).

I mist the inside of the dome itself as much as possible, that is when I notice it has dried out and looks "less humid" so to speak.

Using this method I had 100% success, but I am wondering if I could shorten the time (14 days) it took for them to root, while still maintaining a high success rate (I have a limit of plants and its only 15, so I can't just take a bunch of clones and hope they make it).

Thoughts? Hope you don't mind me posting this all here brother. And rep + earlier as well! :peace:

Everything is relevant when it comes to cloning... temps air and water quality etc. I wouldn't use bloom nute. I use Thrive Alive b1 root stimulater mixed in at 3-4 tspns/gal. water depending on the strain..... slowly reducing the humidity to a constant 60% in 5% incruments every 4 hrs over the first 36 hrs also stimulates quicker root growth..... keep a low amount of light steady on them..... don't let the cubes sit in water.

Awesome pics!!!

Thank You my friend.... always a pleasure to be visited by the doctor ;)

I mist as needed depending on the rh...... you typically don't want it to get to the point of water sitting on the sides of the dome..... that means RH is at less than 55% ;)

Yeah I never let the cubes sit it water.

I guess 2 weeks isn't THAT long to wait for 100% success (or thereabouts, I can't assume I will always hit that number). Thanks for your time bro. :peace:

part of "quick rooting" is forcing the cutting to grow roots to get it what it needs, so if there is constantly water right there at the stem, it is constantly at 75% RH, and whatever nutrients it needs is right there at the stem base, it will take longer to root because it doesn't have to reach out for it ;)...... quick rooting is a delicate balance between too little care, and too much....

I'd say use the panels for the side and the 2 mil plastic for the roof. Just saw a pretty nice one on here actually. I like the idea of shade cloth for the doors.

thanks for the link... looks nice..... I think I will use the panels for siding..... and probably the plastic sheets for roofing....... for this next season..... after that I will make it more perfect/permanent and invest more..... for now its all about bringing the materials together while I prepare the site (by cutting out like ten trees :) ) so everything is ready to go this winter as far as constructing the greenhouse goes... I will probably start a thread about it next month..... for now I need to go water the ladies.... :weed:

Hello TLD, how goes everything? Glad to see and hear your plans for next season are taking place, after all you have another addition to plan for. Things are going good here, lots of naps cause I'm sleeping less each night. lol Price to pay this time of year.
Talking with an old friend and he's growing a strain called Bitty Early, or something that sounds like that, anyway those are suppose to be done around the middle of Sept. The Crooked Prairie also finish up around the middle to end of Sept. I'll try to find out the genetics but it's more than likely Indica dominate. Interested?:leaf:

I may not post much, but damn I love lurking this thread. :clap:bongsmilie
Thank you..... I am always watching yours as well..... I really liked that one plant you've got ;)

Yeah.... this season is somewhat of a dissappointment to me regarding how the growing has had to go. I am a lot more confident for next years outdoor and this winters and then perpetually ongoing indoor as far as the growing experience (for both me and the plants)...... think Im finally ready to settle down...... and hoping for a boy..... though we don't have anything for boys really, a girl would be way less expensive ;)........ but a boy..... otherwise I will want to try again and again and again until I get a son .......

My wife will be delivering a speech on cannibutter :) ..... Im excited anyways....... I really love the idea of cannibis being publically talked about and heard about........ and my wife is so lucky as to maybe start some momentum with this speech :)

Wish it were me.....

As anyone that knows us would say that I am the orator of the two ;)
