I posted the following info in another thread, but it really belongs here. So, my last grow was made up of 14 clones taken from a single Purple Lady mom. I wanted to see how placing cuttings directly on the table compared to rooting them in the cloner first. 7 clones were rooted in a bubble cloner and 7 were placed in RW right on the table. The first thing I saw was that the cuttings in the cloner took twice as long to root, which I figured was due to the fact that I was running Roots Excelurator on the table but not the cloner. H&G says the R.E. is not for cuttings and seedlings. I then took seven more clones and used R.E. in the cloner and the rooting just exploded.
I used 1.1ml per gallon, just as I would in my ebb/flow and the rooting time was cut in half. This is good stuff for cloning as well as vegging.
