hey all i want to do a small 3 plant indoor grow can u tell me which lights i need i and going to be using cfls i just dont no wich ones like the 2200kp thing or what ever it is

also i dont what them to grow to big mabey just like 12inch so i will keep them in a small pot yer

how manny lights shoud i use i was thinking 3 20watts is that good and also i not sure how long i leave them on and off for

have you tried not being a lazy ass and actually reading some of the stuff posted on this forum..? every question you asked is related to the absolute basics of growing a plant and if you can't figure them out, then you certainly wont be able to successfully grow.

12 inch plants are a bit of a challenge, it likely will require some training such as LST, this is basically tieing down the top and forming a spiral shape
you would need a minimum of 50w per plant with LST
start with daylight cfl's(5500k-6500k) to veg with, and soft white cfl's(2700k) for flower

you can stick with one cfl type, but you will get a smaller result for your trouble
you will likely have troubles during your 1st grow, that's the reality of learning
the more parts of the grow that are 'suboptimal', the less you will get
if all you can afford is one type, i'd suggest some 5500k, they are the closest to the sun's spectrum

Buy cheap CFL'S, maybe 4x36-40 watt for veg and a small 250 watt HPS for flower......

*shaking my head* man. we already told you to look at the growfaq its well put together and organized and a retarded chimp could easily navigate it.(not calling u that btw just telling u how simple and easy it is.). if u had at least read the bare basics in the growfaq i'd be happy to answer any questions u might have.

i have read it but can i use the light cycle 12/12 star to finish whith out changing lights

if u want, but the plant best uses blue spectrum light for veg and during flower red spectrum. spring=more blue, fall=more red from natural lighting. you can do 12/12 from seed no problem really, it just wont get as big as it possibley could have and yeild wont reach its maximum level, i'd just switch from blue to red spectrum ones when it shows sex.

Go to Walmart, go buy about 4 bulbs for $.93 they're like, 23/24v CFL bulbs with the best lumens you can get from walmart lights. trust me, they're also the cheapest.

you'll be set. I grew a SUPER nice plant off 3 CFLs from walmart, they were bright as white, too. yes. bright as white.

the height will depend on whether you are growing from clone or seed
my last grow from seed, i vegged to 5 inches, she stretched to 29 inches before she stopped

you can also top, and LST your plant to keep her dwarf...
