Guys Buying Girls Drinks

The dating scene is so lopsided in the woman's favor anyways, which is why I don't think girls are as generous.

I've never bought a guy a drink, but there have been times I wanted to. But I dunno, some guys react weird when you step outside the stereotypical gender roles, so I try to repress the urges to do so.
 
id be interested if a girl got me a drink, i think the oppisite of you, it would be a good thing for a girl to step outside of the norms. i guess i just like a little deviance
 
If a girl bought me a drink it would make my day so hard that she'd probably get a night of drinks on me.

Seriously, that girl would probably end up dating me, that just sounds way too cool.
 
i've had a couple girls buy me drinks and give me digits. didn't follow up though. i think i'm generaly not pretty enough to have a girl buy me a drink....lol

lol, are you the exception, or the rule? Because I've had guys trip on me for stepping outside the norm :razz: It was a guy I knew had a thing for me, but he never had the balls to make a move. But I liked HIM, so *I* made a move, and he said he didn't think girls should make the first move :cry:

that dude you mentioned sounds like a lame douche bag. first off if you liked each other, moves should have been passed back and forth. second of all if hes to chicken shit, and you made the move, he should thank you, because hes not getting anwhere with his own charm

you should buy guys drinks and meet someone like me who thinks its a good idea that your not following stereotypes

It was in high school, it was probably the first time a girl ever made a move on him, probably freaked him out. And moves were passed like, flirting, but I mean making a move to get physical (suddenly the lets get physical song is in my head). I wanted to jump his bones :grin:

So my question to the guys is...what DOES it mean when you buy a girl a drink? If you knew a girl had no interest in you, or had a boyfriend, would you still spend your whole night buying her drinks?

And to the girls...when a guy offers to buys you drinks, do you accept even if you have no interest?

honestly i think its great when a girl makes a move too, i mean both parties are equally interested in sex, why does the guy need to put out all the initiative? i dont mean that to be lazy, i mean it shoud be mutual move making by guys and girls
 
Hmm...I always buy my own, and bring a bottle of liquor and hide it outside so I can go out and drink from it, it's cheaper.This guy I used to drink with and I used to go half and half, even though I didn't have to.I feel weird when people give me stuff or buy me stuff.I've had guys buy me drinks before, but if I'm not interested,I'll tell them "I'll take the drink if you realize this means we aren't fucking."I did accept a pitcher of beer from a guy one night who bought it for me just because I sang "Sweet Child of Mine" at karaoke.:bigjoint:
