Here’s an update on my grow. The first picture is last week, the end of week five from seed. I started 12/12 two days later.



Here we are after a week of 12/12. They’re still on veg nutes and just starting to show sex. I’m going to flower nutes in a few days.



I figure about another week of stretching; if I’ve planned everything correctly the buds will be surrounding the light. Here’s a view from the top.




The 250 watt Hortilux HPS bulb is very cool in the DIY cool tube – I can easily grab and hold the tube without burning my hand. The buds can get as close as 4” before they start to bleach and the screen walls are 12” from the tube – it’ll be tight in there.

true dat, im loving it. my room is like 78 with out a.c now. cant wait to see what this yields.. is the anyway you could put T5s at the top? or CFls?

I could, but there shouldn't be any need to. The buds should gravitate towards the light at various angles, depending on where they are in the screens - the buds high up in the screens may even be pointing downward, depending on how much more they stretch.

thats pretty sweet their dystopia. +rep for excellence in inginuity. man thats gonna be sick when that all fills up with buds cant wait to see it.

Great Pics, Dystpoia.
I finished up 5 weeks from seed this past Sunday and will switch to 12/12 tonight. I stay on VEG nutes for the first two days of 12/12 then switch nutes.

This sure is a great thread to showcase the BubbleHead Grows.

That's a bad ass scrog. I may have to steal a few ideas off that one lol. Killerjob can't wait to see the end result.
I'm thinkin 2-3 weeks tops left for me

I just took the feeder tubes out YESTERDAY and look at how the plant responded. new growths are white(i dislike brown roots). 1 month into hydro. they are clones so total of 1.5 months old.

sweet, so maybe take them out and replace them every couple weeks? See if you get an explosion of growth every time.
