$4000 dollars what would you do........

I have a 2x4 and a 4x4 Sun Hut - they work great for me - got them from my hydro store.

I'd definitely recommend buying one unless you're very handy and know exactly what you want to do, in which case you could certainly build your own.

That being said, it was only like $500 for the two tents, which beats the shit outta the time and expense of building them (to me, anyways).

I'm sure someone else is gonna say that's a massive rip-off (which it is, in all honesty), but $500 really isn't that big of a deal to me.

Anyways, if I were you, I'd get two 8x4 Sun Huts with two 1000HPS in each for my flowering and run them at separate times to not overload the circuit.

Have a 4x4 tent for vegging and you're good to go.

If you're a bad grower, you'd get about 2lbs. per month, a "meh" grower would get 3lbs., and someone who's dialed in would be pulling 4lbs.+ per month.

That's just me.

The tent cost exactly 115$ and 4 hours of time that I made, that is being seen above. A staple gun, 100 feet of Panda Film, 2 rolls of duct tape. Yeah Tent! You can make it any size. Mine is slightly bigger than 10x12.

I have found very reasonable deals on ebay, from 175 to 500 for 2x4 to 10x10 tents. Onething, you will need cool air if you are throwing any big lights in a tent. I had extreme issues keeping tents cool with anything bigger than dual 600watts.

spend more up front to save in long run on "upgrades".

spend it on lights first. 600w digitals. 4 at least.

then 24000btu or larger a/c.

Fans ducting

then your growing method of choice.

then all the small stuff.

then the infinite variety of high dollar "gear".

you'll spend over half in just the lights, and then 500 n up on a/c. then a few items like 10" inline fans but then, your f'n set man. you will have the circulatory system and major costs out of way. everthin else will roll on its own. you can grow in dirt in buckets for FREEE until you can afford to convert to hydro.

wait on good gear after you know what your into. just get some cuttings from some1 who knows what there doin instead for now and your rolln.

Unless you buy wall unit a/c units, most likely you will not score two 25,000 btu units. Wall units are not what he needs most likely. Digital is the way to go, I would say if you are getting a tent go with the 600watts, if you make a bigger room, get the 1000watts.

i paid 75 for my 4x4x6 tent. a couple of light leaks at the stitches but only out. no light in i put a very sensitie time lapse camera in there set to take a pic every 2 minutes in the dark period and not once did i see a single flicker inside it. LAhydro or somethin like that is where i picked it up about eight months ago

use these nutes:

Edit: I also forgot the rule of thumb doing Hyrdo that will turn you into a pro grower or as I like to call myself a very happy smoker:

First you must purchase a ppm meter. you can get one at Eseason gear for $20 google it

all you do it give them as much nutes as possible without burning them. the way you do this is you ppm your water to like 400 ppm lets say,. then you come back the next day and notice the water went down cuz the plants drank some

so after that if you test your ppm and its like 500 ppm instead of yesterdays 400ppm you know that the plants drank more water then nutes and they left behind some nutes cuz there are too much nutes in the water and that is why your ppm has risen

but if they drank water and the ppm goes down it means they are drinking more nutes than water and you need to add more nutes. this is how you can find out exactly how much PPM they need and each day in thier life cycle. like if they drink 2 gallon of water and your ppm is still about 400 then you got the perfect amount in there for that particular time in thier life cycle.

but as soon as you notice the slightest browning and crispyness on the tippy tips of the leaves you should back off a on nutes a tiny bit cuz they are just starting to burn

I also switch out my water and nutes every 1.5 weeks not every 2 weeks

Trade out the gravity for bushmaster from the same company and your really close. .. I would add at least floralicious plust to the mix and maybe flora blend if you are going to keep it mostly in company. Probably Flora Nectar as well. . .

What is the purpose of using Purple Maxx. Is it like gravity with something that may add a little purple to the mix???

Also when using hydro and using a Ph up or down do i have to worry about the buffers in my water messing it all up after a few days.

That DWC system loooks sweet. Thanks for all that info.

the GH flora series buffers your water automatically, so basically test you ph after you nute and it should be good atleast mine always is so i dont even test anymore

but yea DWC is real easy just replace the soil with water and add an air pump, easy as making coolaid:bigjoint:, run into a problem? no worries mate dump out the bucket and refill it with nice fresh free water:bigjoint:

you can get tubs at lowes or homdepot make sure you get a tub that keeps your plants net pots about i say atleast a foot apart basicaly so they got the most room to grow here some old pics of my setup:

first 2 just to show off:bigjoint:

ok this one below you can see the lid to my res i try to get a res the size of the room you grow in this is a 5x5x8 ft closet

this is the top view obviously
