Vent through your attic & out of a dryer vent - looks just like any other bathroom vent.
Yea, the dryer duct is always a good choice. There will probably be a spot on your roof that won't ice up, or keep snow on it. That's always nerve racking when you have the only house in the neighborhood that doesn't have snow on the roof the morning after a snow storm.

vent it back in to your appartment after you've heavily filtered it. then you don't have to cut the heat up as much.

Note: if it's filtered properly, the air in your house will smell sterile which is odd, air fresheners

I think its only the humidity that you can see, if your just exhausting hot air with low humidity then it will be fine'?

Yes your exhuast will replicate exactly what happens when you exhale your warm air from your mouth to the colder air.

Ideas on fixing this:

since you can't change your set up to vent through your dryer or bathroom ect...

basically my only idea is crazy and a lot of work.

your gonna have to rig up some sort of cooling system within your ducting to try to reduce your warm air trace...

umm i dont know if this is an option for you but what about just exhausting into another area of your apartment? which would avoid the issue of warm air VS cold air...

i dunno...gimmie some facts to work with

well think of it this way if you have a decent exaust fan on your exaust, and a efficient cooling system in your room with a dehumidifier, which you may need anyway. You can plan on dropping 1 1/2 degrees every 2 1/2 feet of venting. So if you add a small and cheap in line fan for every 10 foot of venting and stretch the venting out as far as possible you should be ok. For example a 30ft vent assembled with a exaust fan and two in line fans with the proper conditions should drop at least 12 degrees from begining to end. If 12 degrees just wont cut it for you then you have to get into this a little bit deeper. I seen a good friend of mine exaust his vent litterally into the ground. All he did was run the vent thru the wall and into the groud ran it about 15 feet into his yard at about 1 1/2 feet deep and into a 3 ft by 3 ft square whole that he dug up and put a metal grate over the whole so you can walk and would never even know it was there. No sure if these options are any help to you but I tried.

use the heat to help heat your home, if power goes out, have some ona gel shit. to cover smell or a carbon scrubber. Pics would be helpful

Not a good idea. How many people do you know that dries their clothes for 12-18 hours a day 7 days a week?
Have you ever watched a dryer vent on a cold day when the sun is shining the vapors are almost non existent this isn't a steam trap so thinking it's gonna look like a fog machine 12-18 hrs a day is wrong wrong wrong

:lol::mrgreen:We do not get snow, but a few mornings there will be frost on all of the other roofs but mine....I vent into attic:bigjoint:It does look a little obvious!

And you are not going to see steam (our exhalation is like 98% RH), but the flying pigs can see the heat...that is why the dryer vent is so cool!
