Im FRICKEN BUMMED!

So I planned on my room being 8' x 20' but after laying out the plans it turns out that it is only going to be 6'11" x 20' I planned on using 4'6" tables to grow on but now I cant really use anything over 4'
This sucks!
I have 5 1000 watters now I know I wont be short on lumens right?
I know this will vary but theoreticly does anyone know what one could yeild out of a room like ths size?

nah but your gonna want a good humidifier and some good ventilation.

and you should have plenty of light. umm are there a mixture of lighting hues ie blue and red lights. sorry but i think 1000w lights are overated they put out more heat than they do good in some cases. and you should set up a perpetual grow system if your thinking of using so much power. it will take a bit to start up but once youve got it down pat youll get way more for your money.

What do you mean by perpetual grow system.
I have Two rooms side by side. Both the same size. One is setup up with the 5 1000w with fresh air provided by a 12 max fan. The intake air is filtered via a set of furnace filters. I figured filtering will at least keep out the dust if not more.
I have been told the humidity will be more of a problem that dry air.
The second room will have tha same number of lights but they will be vented. I will run CO2 in that room. Eviroment will be controlled via a sentinal controller. ie. heater, AC, dehumidifier etc.
I am not new to growing, just new to indoors.

just wanted to add that I will be staggering my grows. One room will be in flower while the other is in veg.

thats basically perpetual.,.,wat u want to do is have plants at every stage of life so its like a conveyer belt.,.,always plants flowering.,.,veging.,.,fresh cracked seeds/clones.,.,so when u have herb ready to smoke u got herb ready to chop, you got herb ready to flower

all you have to do is add a space for some babies. just allocate a part of the vegging side or something for babies or clones and youll be laughing.

What would an adequate space be for 99 clones?
My rooms are not really big enough (without sacrificing grow space) to grow clones.
I am thinking that a space 4'x4' or maybe 4'x8' at most should be enough for 99 clones?

4' tables .. ain't bad ... leaves you 2'11 to walk thru .... (assuming 6'11" is inside dimension)

5 x 1000 W = a lot o' heat

depending on strain and your green thumb 350 to 500 g / sq yd/meter

evaporation and respiration will cause humdity ... depends on incoming air and humidity of air coming in ... Arizona needs humidifying and Oregon needs de-humidifying ... haha ..... also dependent on the season

Roland, thanks for helping out again!
For fresh air/heat removal a 12" max fan will be moving air thru a 12" x 39" Phresh Filter.
I would think it should do the trick. If I need to ad an air conditioner I will get a self contained unit that will help remove humidity. I live on the coast in Oregon so humidity is more of a concern for me, at least for now.
When I get more flow I will outfit the next room with five vented CoolSuns XXXL's and us CO2.
Thats another story that I will save for another time.

Also wanted to mention in the past clones were grown in peet pots. I never had any issue to speak of when growing outdoors. Would they be acceptable to use when growing indoors when using soil?
I have found that it was "easier" on the littles girls when transplanting.
What say you?

it all sounds good ... Oregon coast huh .. I used to live in Eugene and spent some time at the Coast... yeah .. u are in for a long wet season in the next few months ... I use basicly the same soil for indoor and outdoor ... have had no probs .. so I would think your peat pots would be fine .. never used em ..so u might get other opinions

yeah man should be fine depends on how big your gonna allow for them to grow before putting in the propper veg space..

once you start youll find that you will prolly decide on a few different things ie. after the first run youll get your clones and be getting used to a perpetual growing period that suits your needs. with 99 clones it may be worth just using a few fluros or cfls in a seperat container even i dunno its up to you.

this is already a lot of whit to be getting caught with so id probably try to stay away from greed, allocate that space and work from there. maybe even just use one untill you get the hang of things thats a lot of risk and power consumption just to waste on a failure. though that being said its easy to make it from start to finish.

I understand the greed. This is only for informational purposes. I actually will only be growing my limit. My Three roomates are already growing their limit.
So, we are all good.

LMFAO. well if yas can actually grow grow as many as ya feel comfortable lol. i was just saying it would suck to waste all that power for nothing.

Undastood. I know you wasnt harrasing me. Its jsut that the limit in Oregon is 26 plants, but since I have Three roomies out total limit is One Hundred and Four.
I have never checked into the legalities of growing your limit together with the legal limit of others but I cant see how anything like that could even remotely hold up in court.
Anyway. I have been growing for the past several years and have never been bothered by the locals.
