I've been using unrefined cane sugar for quite a while now, which has been working great! Adds a noticable plump to the buds as well as a better flavor.
I recently switched over to molassas out of convenience - I found 1/2 a jar in the kitchen cabinets - must have been left over from cookies a long time ago...
It also disolves easier than the sugar I had been using.
I use 1-2 Tablespoons per gallon.
Since when do plants use carbohydrates? The deal is that when a plant starts flowering/fruit producing it uses up many carbohydrates. Adding molasses or simple sugars should allow the plant to produce larger buds/flowers/fruit. That is a simplified explanation.
They make carbs from water and co2. They can't actually absorb carbs directly.plants use carbs. stores energy and used in cellulose.
im not denying this fact cuz i dont know. .i was just saying how they do use carbs. They make carbs from water and co2. They can't actually absorb carbs directly.
