is lst'in really that benefical for cfl grows tho?
CFL's can only penetrate a limited amount and if your lst'ing your making a very bushy plant. The lights will most likely only be able to penetrate the first and second layer of this bush.
During the early stages i can see lsting being fine, with the cfl's above. But by the time you get round to maybe 2-3 weeks flowering, surely it'll be bushy as hell and well hard to penetrate?
I'm not 100% sure on that cus i'm very baked but then if height restrictions are in place, it might be best too...

If you grow in your own house and cops get tiped that your growing it doesnt matter if you own your house or land and house. They have legal rights to serch your place if they get a warrnt to serch and on school property they proibly dont need 1.
No only will you get kicked out , you'll also get charged and get sent to jail.
If your going to grow grow in your own house or in the woods never on school property man.

like i said this is my first grow but i bought a ph tester and the ph of the water out of my tap was so high it didnt even register adjusted the ph and all my probs went away. dont know what you mean by nice try lol dont know what i would be trying to do but once the ph was fixed i no longer had problems. guess im trying again lol.

On the contrary, LST'ing and CFL's go hand in hand. When ppl talk about light penetration, it's the distance the light travels while keeping it's intensity. Not how many layers of leaves the light will travel through. LST'in helps keep upper and lower bud nodes at the same level, making it easier to keep your plants close to the light. And effectively increasing yield significantly for CFL users.

U didnt read the thread then! I havnt checked my PH since my second grow. Ph ONLY matters if u grow Hydro. Plz read it! This thread has changed my whole grow, i truley can grow 4 plants at a pound a piece. I tried sog, i loved 12/12 from seed. Now i have a real grow room, so i dont need those techs.. I grow perpetual now. Im goin to deep, jus read that thread, if it doesnt change ur thought, ill send u free seeds!! Not really!

do people farm in your area?
there are probably farming supply stores if they do, or a plant nursery,
which would stock perlite or vermiculite.
if you are doing two grows you might consider trying organics in one, just manure,
i bet you know someone with horses. or rabbits. or chickens.
sgt. those look a little potassium deficient, actually i had the same problem recently,
maybe not though, just a thought, but nitrogen deficiency, which is normal, doesn't produce the same folding of the leaves.

there has already been a thread where a dude grew bud in a dorm room on riu. oneyearorange or something like that so its not gonna be the first. and ditty are you homeboys spokesman or something lol?
if i was starting with a whole room and 5 good geene fem seeds and if you want to max yield i recomend using 5 20-30liter bucket and saw a whole in the lid ( not great with english) and but basket of any kind and claypebbles or stones or anything soon as the seeds are well rooted

Ok, let`s get straight to the point. Me an my roomie want to get our growing going. Now we`ve recently ordered 5 feminized Bubblelicious seeds complete with growing kit from nirvana-shop.com
I`ve gone about this forum back and forth an have found plenty of good advice and new info.
HOWEVER... we only want to grow a single pot, maybe 2. As in 1 or 2 plants, nothing more. So i`m looking for advice on how to grow a small scale operation such as this and in our dorm room nonetheless
Worth mentioning, we have a big, big room, lots of space, just the two of us inside, other than the cleaning ladies that come every thursday, no one we don`t want in comes in.
My plan was pretty basic really. Buy the seeds, the nirvana growing kit, 2-3 pots, GROW THE GANJA. Seems like it`s a bit more complicated than that though, so if you would, i`d very much appreciate some help and tips here.
EDIT: once i get things together and start growing, i will post step by step how i went about setting my plant up and if it is successfull -as in my plants grows healthy and pretty- i will separate it into a post of how i did it, in hope that if someone else needs a small scale stealth build like i do, it may come in handy. So please, let`s all work together and make this project into a success

i would try make a cage for support up from the lid not from the bucket(creates heavy issues) than youl just have one extra bucket in wich you move the lid (with the flowers) when you change or fill up your water.
