read this, fimming will make around 4-8 new tops, old school topping ya get 2 usually, it works great, i am a big fan of it and do it to all my plants(i have height restrictions) along with lst.

that's pretty awesome. i had heard of fim but didn't actually know what it was. i definately just topped my plant. i'll fim it when the new growth is a little bigger. i better crank the fan up to make the stems strong enough to support all those bud sites

Thanks man. the clones haven't really showed me any signs of life yet but i keep taking more as the mothers keep getting bigger so one of them should root.

the reason why its called fuck i missed is cuz some guy did it accidently when he sloppily topped his plants, noticed the results and replicated them in experiments and named it the "fuck i missed" topping method when he wrote into one of the big grower magazines(just in case u were wondering, mblaze guide says he doesnt know where the name came from). its pretty foolproof, im sure ya did it right.

i saw what it stood for in the newb dictionary but didn't know the story behind it. that's pretty awesome. i guess anything called "fuck i missed" isn't a real technical process and has a lot of room for error

the clones i took last week are looking like shit. i'm sure i did something wrong but don't know what. I don't know if they're over watered or the humidity is too high or what. If anyone can help me i'd appreciate it. I've read qutie a few guides and watched a lot of videos. I know how to take the cuttings but i don't know what kind of care they need after that or what kind of conditions are best.

heyy man.. hope your blue mystic make a comeback.. i think as long as it keeps growing the way its growin now.. you'll be fine!! im really thinking about ordering some blue mystic from nirvana too.. its deff one of my favorites.. well i never smoke it. lol. but i mean as far as looks.. i like ak-48 as well... but heyy.. are you using any reflective material?? that would probably help a little bit.. if you go to family dollar.. they have rolls of wrapping paper there that are shiny silver for a dollar.. and its about 10ft.. i bought like 6 of them.. and they work fucking AWESOME!! but only 2 out of the 4 family dollars in my town had it.. soo you may have to shop around.. but its well worth it.. and if you have the money.. try to buy as many as you can.. cuz i think they are around just for the holiday..

and if you cant finad any there... try goin to another dollar store.. like dollar tree.. they also ave some stuff there you could use.. they had shiny tissue paper... lol. i know it doesnt sound like it would work.. but it worked great!! its not like real tissue paper.. idk how to explain it.. but its shiny/silver.. but the stuff at family dollar is better.. but their both a dollar.. and you cant beat that deal!! lol. good luck with your grow.. i will deff be checkin in.. subscribed

I went to check the clones today to post some pics of the problems and while i was i saw roots on 3 of them. so that means they survived but i'm still doing something wrong.

the one clone off the plant i topped also has some orangish brown hairs growing from it. i've never seen preflowers so i don't know if that's what they look like but i'll post a pic full size so you guys can maybe see. I also am posting a large pic of the plant i fimmed. i see growth starting i don't know of what tho...

Sorry to butt in on this thread but I'm in desperate need of help

Got some Blue Mystic seeds from Nirvana // Germinated them and everything was all ok /// in vegetative state and growing really well...........then..........disaster !

(well you'll see what I mean from the photos)

They are been grown inside with soil and 24 hours ago NPK'd (the standard fertilizer with Nitrogen / phosphate /potassium)

We normally give all our plants the same solution at a similar stage and have never had this problem before

Any help / suggestions as to the cause (if not the above) and more importantly a solution would be greatly appreciated

thanks - yep, thats the conclusion we've come to - looks like we gave them too much nutrient too early on

The soil is an organic mix with peat

is it sitting in its own runoff water? when you water water the sides of the containers and not just by the stem- its not good for root growth. how strong of a dose did you give em? with cannabis you gotta start pretty weak and work your way up, 25% of the recommended strength is what i start with. how about some info on the nutes you using? it would really help. do you have a flowering nutrient in mind yet? whats your temps? it appears you may of nuteburned it.
