hey ninja, what lighting are you using in your cloning room? i am setting one up and want good lights. the space i am going to use is 64cm wide x 64cm deep x 85cm high. i have 2 two foot double fluros, 18w each bulb total 72w would these work or do you or anyone else have any suggestions?

that is not how my grow room is. i packed everything in there for the photo. all my electrics sit outside my cupboard in plastic containers with sides 30cm high.
due to being electicuted myself a few years ago i take all care with it.
with that out of the way, how do you think my plants look?

Ive always wanted to try blue cheese, how cheesy does it smell or is she just cheesy when in flowering, mmmm nothing like a bit of cheese from a women?

That has got to be one of the best looking clones I have ever seen!!! I think its is safe to say, that clone has rooted well!!!

I notice that none of your big fan leaves are not cut back, I thought that was a must with clones?

I want my clones to look rooted that good, how long you keep her in your Cloning method?

They were cut, but i have since removed those leaves..
I dont really do anything special. I just use de-chlorinated water with some CSS clone food, PH it @ 6, then cut my clone, scrape the base, dip it, plant it and cut the Fan leaves.
I keep foliar spraying to a minimal as i find this feeds the plant too much and does not make them want to strike roots as they are getting what they need already.

This Clone was cut from the plant about 3 weeks ago.
I give them a week under my special 36W root-inducing fluros (2 X 18W tubes), then i add the 125W CFL for another week. Then they go into the Flood & Drain table for a further week, using just the 125W CFL. After the 3rd week they are ready for some HID lighting and whatever method i have brain-stormed up to grow em in.

& I found that once i used a different spectrum from ordinary Veg my clones greatly improved. No use giving them light for growing when they dont have any roots.

When you normally start seeing roots?

Do you use a dome or heat mat?

It normally takes me about 7-10 days to c any sort of roots break out from the 1 inch cube, then after a further 10 days its ready to start its growth cycle.
I do use a heat-pad & a dome, forgot to mention that bit, woops
..So essentially it is only a week and a half old..
As for ya Cheese questions, i cant honestly answer the most of em as ive never grown this strain b4. It does not smell cheesy at the moment, i presume its only during flower..
& as for Women Cheese, thats
i like a women's box as clean as my grow-room..

those roots were massive bro, i tried to feed them through the netpots for about an hour before i gave up.... the feeder tubes will keep em going to untill they drop some roots down into the res...

dropped the EC to 1.0
PH sitting at 6
100w CFL 6400K sitting above it....

Haha yeah, they r bastards to feed thru..
I wudv drilled out the holes on the netpot in a few spots to help em thru otherwise u are likely to strangle em.

Yo Masterd, here is the thread i was telling you about, just a simple flood and drain system, but this guy gets his plants used to a big hit of EC right from the get-go, and they love it. So long as u make it strong early the plants will handle it as opposed to getting burnt.

and i droped the ec lower just incase one of out nutes has more organic material in it(organics dont conduct electricity so they dont show up) and you can always add more nutes later but you cant take back nute burn...
if they go light green ill up it a bit more

as for the pots, i was thinking about drilling out holes and then i realised that by the time i fill it up and hydroton around the rockwool only a couple of centermeters of roots were hanging out, so i just spread them out a bit in the hydroton
theyre starting to pop out now, you cant really see it in the pic though

Vinegar works, but is Harsh, Lemon Juice is a good organic alternative, but it will raise again in 24hrs or so..

Plants are looking very Nice

used vinegar but its got slight ph burn....

didnt put much in.... checked it with my ph kit.... did my calculations, got it to the level i wanted.... which was from about 7 down to about 6.5 maybe 6.7, its now back up to 7... maybe even 7.2...

and im using a liquid and powder ph kit for anyone wondering why im talking about my ph in estimates not exact figures, ive used them for years so i can get a good reading, and they stop me from fucking with the ph 2 much....


once again thanks for the clones ninja.... anyone that reads this thread that already hasnt given him rep should give hime some(because ive gotta share more rep before i give it out to him again),and im pretty sure hes helped every one in this thread.... if he hasnt already im sure he will...

man this adelaide heat is killing me. Still haven't got my beans yet but have been running tests on my grow tent for heat and plant stress using some coriander in a small DWC bucket. Hard to keep the tent under 37 during the day with the HPS on.
