Growing shrooms - a few questions

So I've been reading about this a lot in the past few days, and I've been shocked to see how easy it is. It seems like startup cost for the PF tek is virtually nil - if you have jars, all you need is some vermiculite, BRF, and of course your spores, which can easily come out under 30 bucks and definitely less than 40. Adding a pressure cooker to the equation is what, another 40? Provided I couldn't borrow one.

It certainly seems far easier than growing weed, and much less maintenance is involved - I could probably set the jars in a closet for 2 weeks alone, and as long as the temp is right it seems like I don't have to do anything.

But I don't know much about shrooms either, both in terms of street value and the amount one can expect to produce with something like the PF tek.

What would you pay for shrooms on the street? How much will I produce doing the PF tek?

Just intrigued, I guess. It seems like growing any shrooms at all would grow me far more than I could ever use, so I'd be selling some I imagine.

Honestly, I imagine that the laws regarding shrooms are much harsher than the pot laws here. I can possess or grow up to 100 grams of pot and basically get a slap on the wrist and a small fine if caught. Not sure what the penalties on shroom possession are like.

one thing to remeber is CLEAN

CLEAN EVERYTHING.

shroom mycelia are very weak, and can be killed with almost EVERY mold in your house bath fridge.
just one single foreiign spore will destroy the entire jar. NO you cannot just cut off infected parts.

depending on what your house looks like and how clean it is, you can get by with the stuff youve mentioned.

if your even slightly lazy, or find moldy ANYTHING in your fridge more than once a year, youll also need a glove box. you know like a sealed chemistry hood with gloves you stick your hands in?

i pay 30 for an 1/8th. I think its a pretty reasonable price considering I have to pay $60 for an 1/8th of the ganja. Yea im gonna start growin shrooms pretty soon here. shrooms are pretty easy to grow. I did it once and ate a wet ounce with my friend. They said it lost 90% of its weight so i figured me and my friend were sharing about 3 grams. We were way too fucked up, it was an intemse experience. I also sold a dry 1/8 to some friends who split it and they said they have never been that high and would never do shrooms again.

You can flush a cake about 3-5 times ! given the right conditions.I take it you have seen the pf tek video on you tube. Watch that then follow the instructions.

You dont NEED a pressure cooker when doing BRF cakes ( pf tek ) ive done it twice and ii steam sterlisd for 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Just Check out shroomery guides n what not it really aint hard.
Saying that ivve done it twice first tiem it fucked up coz of really bad spores and second time i only did 2 cakes but i got more than i needed and was fantastic.
Get ur spores from somewhere reputable.

for $120 you can get the idiot proof kit, i forget the company but they always have a full page add in high time, i called them and they said you will get 3-4 harvest of 30 shrooms from 1 kit. havent tried for myself but should be worth the money

dont do this, for a 120dollars you could make ten fold what that kit would make you and its pretty idiot proofjust to follow standard pf-tek.

I dont really know how much i produced. I took all the mycellium and filled up an aluminum baking tray and emptied it into there and used a clear plastic tote to grow in with some clay pebbles and a bubbler. I only did one run so i didnt perfect my technique i just wanted to do some shrooms at the time.

Nah you dont need a pressure cooker if you are gonna do PF-tek BRF cakes, for anything else yes. I knwo ive done it -_-

dont do this, for a 120dollars you could make ten fold what that kit would make you and its pretty idiot proofjust to follow standard pf-tek.

For me if i grow them it would be a one time thing, unless it turns out i realy dig shrooms, then i will invest in raw materials.

it's definantley worth it if you just want to try them or sell them. Really easy ,but like dude said get your syringe-spore prints from a reputable source. If you eat them fresh start of light, if you never tripped before there more potent fresh.

yeah so no need to buy a 120 dollar set -_- for like 20 dollars a plastic box, perlite, brown rice flower, vermicullite and u have cups and foil...Steam sterilise....colinize....fruit...And you have more if u want

edit and spore like 15 dollars?? i dnnno im british. But you can do better than cheap out ona set! u will defintely not regret anything

This is my first time doing it! and my (pf tek )(brf ) jars are about 2 weeks old, and i would say in 1 week i will be ready to soak these bitches. I am very confident about the fruiting stage it is real easy.

Actualy, and i say it with respect as I'm a shroomery member too, mycotopia is where its at for the hardcore info.

I agree the cost of growing shrooms is a non-event.

If you are cheap like me, all you need to buy after you have a presure cooker is popcorn or whole maize chicken feed, to stretch that further you can spawn that into horse pooh which comes from a horse's arse for free, I guess old cow patties are fine too, and a few syringes from the pharmacy to knock up your jars, they are like cents here in your currency. I just say I use it for orchid seed transplants (petri dish process), if asked. Other wise I just say what I want and pay cah without volunteering any more info... wearing a short sleeve shirt, so your uninjected arms are cleary visible, will smoothe things over further.

If you sell a few grams, you can easily recover your costs. At street prices here I get decent weed,gram for gram here and we know that shit is worth more than gold. Also selling 1 gram is enough to buy 6 mason jars, selliing 4 grams buys a new presure cooker....

Oh holy shit I never even thought about just straight up trading it for weed that'd be sick lol. Idk though selling shrooms is prolly significantly more sketchy and illegal than just growing a personal weed stash.
