My LST is in the first week of flower. The plant began leaning initially because the light was not centered over the pot. Then I secured it in the soil with a stretched out bobbypin. Slowing moving it in a continuous circular motion. When it got too tall to secure in the soil I used a file clip to secure the bobbypin down to hold the plant.

first time grower trying lst. 3 og kush and 1 blue dream vegged for 3 weeks and they are on the first week of 12/12. These are crammed into a 2x2 tent with 400W son agro.

I didn't start to lst until about week 2 of veg. I tied each of my ladies to the poles and slightly tilted their net pots. I then supercropped the main tops and waited for the lower portions to catch up. I untied them as they grew because the tent walls were collapsing and squishing them from the exhaust fan. The couple lower branches that didnt make it to the top I took them as clones.

sorry for the horrible pictures. haven't been using the digital cam.

Thx, sorry, posted it a couple times!! (I'm kinda proud of it! :D)

I don't know dry weight because it's still very much alive.. I'm thinking another two weeks or so.. I dunno.. It won't stop growing. Tomorrow will be 9wks flowering.

When can you begin LSTing? That plants looks awesome potberto

pretty much any time in veg mabye a few weeks after sprouti had a seedling that only had its first 2 leaves and was very strechted si i tied down the stem right nest to the dirt and it took about 5 inchs off height with on 1 tie, but i would recomend a few wekks after sprout or if clone after it has a healthy root sytem :weed:

check out my little mini lst plants, 2 plants, started when they were about 3 weeks old i think, pics before strting and then the first stage and what they look like now, though the larger of the 2 is getting cut down cause it turned out to be a male.

My experience with LSt is that as long as you dont over stress the roots (good anchor at bottom), the plant can take all you can give. Lst anytime as long as the stem isnt hardening. Ive LST'd thru flower. If you overdo the babies, you could break the tap root and stop growth.:bigjoint:

i thought in low stress training the low referred to the amount of stress... i see in shanus' house it refers to the actual height of the plant... lol
yes it does refer to the amoun of stress but alo height alot of people lst so their plants are shorter if they have a small grow space:leaf::bigjoint:

Week 6 of my plants.

3 weeks germ/seedling under 40w T12 6500K.
Week 5 of veg (8 weeks all day).
200+ watts of 6500k to 2700k (mainly above 5000k).
I started to FIM and LST when the 4th and 5th true leaves started to form. I also bend them to keep them growing in the right direction.
There are 3 plants in each 3 gallon planter. (For space reasons, this is how i do it and it works our just fine)
The other plant is the runt. I have only FIMed it and will be using it for cloning experiments.

also how far are u cfls from the plants they look a bit far from them but yourplants arent strecthin so it must be fine just a thought i keep my 200 watt cfl about 2-3 inches above the plant
