Like I said. I rarely see even those. I would have to make a few years worth of observation to say I've seen chemtrails. I keep an open mind that it could be happening for a multitude of reasons but ehh who knows?

Someone should charter a plane or small jet and follow some of these"chemtrail" planes and take samples, or model rockets/ballons get some science.

I don't take the metallica video serious at all. I like the way they lump a few different conspiracy type things into one. I don't see any aircraft where I am at, just the company helicoptor, maybe the odd bush plane bringing supplies to isolated reserves. Even when I'm at home I may see one or two a day flying at full alt.

the first two pics from early in the thread are "Lenticular" clouds.
mostly seen over high mountain ranges. it usually means its windy in the upper atmosphere.
they are normal, not seen usually by vast majority of the population but totally normal.
they sometimes call them "cigar" shaped clouds. some people see them and think its a ufo.
they are not "halo" in shape but similar to an airplane wing.

the tunguska event happened, and they know exactly what why and how... an icy metorite (really a small comet) was heated by contact friction from the atmosphere, and exploded roughly a mile above the ground, leaving a uniquely shaped 'butterfly' blast imprint in the forest below. this imprint has been duplicated in scale by scientists @ MIT... id source it but im too lazy to look up the articles.

what i was speaking of isnt a conspiracy.
the logs are still on the ground, to this day.
im willing to bet if you got on google earth and veiwed the area from the right altitude you would see the blast imprint for yourself.

Arrg I know I know. Seen some shows on in not long ago, I liked the look of the video in the metallica song, I don't know if they filmed some of the stuff to look like the old footage, like the cat being re-animated etc. Or if it's peices from other old vids of sorts?

The part I didn't take serious is the conclusion metallica draws from the event.

Edit: I really like metallica, I find this last album to be the best since puppets!!
