Hey Guys,
Just about done with my first grow, 2000 watt Sour Diesel grown from clone. Buds look real nice, I have clipped a bit and smoked it... and it's good weed. I am sure it will be alot better when dried properly (used a microwave) Anyhow, I got a 30X microscope and most of the trichomes are pretty cloudy, but not much amber to be found. The person I got the clones from told me he finds 65 days works well, I am curious if he chops early considering I am at 65 days now and can't spot many amber glands on the ladies.
Of course, letting them go to 20% amber increases the "couch lock" feeling that herb produces, and I have read in several places that letting a sativa go to that point is kind of contradicting that "up high" that you are looking for from a sativa to begin with. Curious what you guys think. Do most of you let your sativas go until 20% amber? Heres a few pictures from about a week ago.
