How much are Bay Area clubs paying growers per pound?

I'm with dr. dank on this. I spend alot to grow only top flight meds. and need to recover expenses to continue to provide it. I thought that people wanted better than walmart and I really don't think that sick people need economically driven quality meds. If my garden has to produce commercial grade shit cheaper than resonable I'm done. It will level out and it will be a mainstream import for profit rip off to the consumer. I hope the med side survives. I have been self emloyed for many yrs and have a good understanding of cost and profit. When retail runs it it's going to suck . The greedy like to watch others suffer for there profit they call their customers suckers and there even shittier to their suppliers, they never really pay for it essentially borrowing inventory from their suppliers.

One thing I have notitced is that there are a lot of caregivers and patients here in Montana who firmly believe that legal medical marijuana patients should not pay black market prices for their medication. Pretty much nobody is anymore but there are a few exceptions.

Several caregivers are offering $175 per ounce prices in part to discourage greedy people who are just in it for the bucks. We don't have dispensaries of clubs....yet....but I'm sure that's coming.

For the most part, everyone in the medical marijuana community is doing what they can to keep prices down....When a greedy caregiver starts with the same old "it's purple this" or "it's white that and I need $300.00 per oz" b.s. , he/she is pretty much told to take a hike over to the blackmarket side of town.

Those $250 - $300 per oz days are over. Thank god.

Glad ya'll ain't in Florida somebody would beat your ass telling them 175 per OZ...
Here in Fl the going rate for quality is 400 per oz, wholesale from grower to dealer 4500-5000 per lb.

Sounds to me that folks want walmart prices but boutique quality...don't work that way..I'll stay underground

200$ should be the limit for a oz price.

16 * 200 = 3200.. 2000 whole sale and 3200 broken up? your math sounds like it is on the buyers side of the equation, growers (usually) don't work things out by the zip, it just doesn't make since. AND morroca has a different economy, do you know what a zip of pure coccaine costs in Honduras?? 35 dollars.. international price disscussion is a moot point, it just don't make any difference.

I dont think med patients deserve a better rate then a recreational smoker.
Weed is Weed. It don't take any more effort to grow for either. I grow the best I can No matter who is going to get it. This is not Walmart. You dont get any 4 dollar script's.
Not trying to be crass but the shops around here are trying to play that BULLSHIT. All of my patients get the Bro deal, that is because I know them, there problems and there financial situation.
That is different then a club buying my LB's. Half the peeps with a card are not seriously ill. At least around here,( lotsa college kids ).
I know I dont live in the bay area, just had to pipe up about this topic.
I do not think there should be different price for cannabis NO MATTER WHO IS GETTING IT.
Wit that said..I am one of the least expensive ones around town. I think the problem may be growers thinking there smoke is worth more then it really is.

Mid- 2600/3200
Chronic- 3300/4100
Premium- 4500/6000

grown in dirt: 2200-2800
hydro: 2600-3400
hydro purples:2800-3600

hash: 7-9 per G

i just emptied them all this morning. :(

i was told my pot was schwagg. 10+ pounds of it. it's too good to grind into hash, but not quite the "top shelf" i'm used to dealing with. i'm not sure what can be done with it. meanwhile it just sits here. it's not so much about money now as it is about somebody needs to smoke all this. it's hella stoney, just a little loose. :weed:

i went to a local club recently with 86 grams of hash. it's a new dude i'm dealing with, that i have only dealt with once before. he asked me how much i wanted. i said "12 a gram". he says "i'll give you 10", then he weighs it and comes up with 81 grams. funny thing is is i had stamped the weight on each chunk. there were 4 chunks at 20+ grams each. so he lowballs me on the price, then under weighs it, then has the balls to say "i'll give you 800". knocking off ANOTHER 10 on his end. he charges up to 30, though his highest listing at the time was 25.

then he tells me he'll need more in a week or so. i tell him i have plenty. he says "cool, see you in a week or so". i wait a week then make another batch. i let it dry a few days then hand press it all. 125 grams. i go in to see him. he says "what do you want?" i told him he told me to come back in a week or so and it's been a week or so. he says "i told you to call. i don't need anything". he gets all attitudy about it. i tell him it's no big deal, i live 2 blocks away and just stopped in. he insists i call next time.

i don't think there will be a next time.

A symptom of too many vendors, not enough clubs IMO. I don't deal with the clubs in my county because of attitudes like this or worse.

A friend of mine just got 3000 down there for his (grown in soil). Maybe his is exceptional, or he got lucky.

I went to a a club not too long ago in Humboldt. I told them I wanted 3200. They inspected it, and came back saying that they thought it was worth more! They gave me 3400. They said to bring more in a couple of weeks, but when I did they said they didn't need anything right now... "come back in a couple of weeks". OK, that's fine... but, I went back and some other person inspected what I had (the same exact stuff as before), and he tells me that it looks like something grown in a greenhouse, "we're not interested in buying from you". WTF?! Talk about inconsistent.

I got over 3 for my entire outdoor crop this year. (with the exception of 1# which I got 28 for)

But the same clubs who were buying that aren't paying that much right now.

Selling stuff to clubs is all about randomly showing up at the right time or finding club owners who will be loyal to you.
