o.k. the breeding project has started...

Then put them to germinate in the hot press like this..



2- 3 days later they are like this...




And then in to their labelled pots..


Then in to my home made incubaitor..




These will be misted everyday for a week or two.. and hopefully in less than 3 months I'll have a bundle of seeds for my summer outdoor project..:bigjoint:

Hi all fellow Irish growers.
I have a few questions the experts might be able to answer for me.
First of all i have no funds to buy expensive equipment ill looking for a DIY sulotion.

I have 5 white dwarf auto fem plants 1 week old. I am growing in a spare bathroom under a 600watt HPS on a yoyo system to adjust height.

Q Is humidity that important i cant any in my room. Iv put peebles underneath the plant pots and added water to them to help but it hasnt. ?

Q Is 1 meter enough height from plant to bulb. Average temp is about 28oC
?
Q When the sun is shinning outside could i move my plants to the windowsill for natural light or will the 2 diff light sources cause probs?

Is there a safe :-) website that i could upload pics onto so i can transfer onto this forum for referance.

one meter is loads, for a 600 id say of a distance 2foot will do ok, sunlight and artificial light together within the desired light cycle is grand too, natural light for a natural plant can only be benificial, not too up to date on humidity, i do know that younger plants prefer more humidity than flowering plants, if your plants arent getting heat stress then your probly ok?
you could spray/mist them if you want to pamper them that little bit more?
i use photobucket.com for my photos, does a grand job

on another note Nirvana on caple street burnt down to the ground this morning along with the porn/sex shop and more importantly the big seed bank next door that i was about to buy seeds in tomorrow
the fire bergade had the street closed off and were still shootin water in it at 4 o clock today, the amount of melted glass in there must be unreal
i thought the place was open 24/7 n all so how it got started is beyond me

Wont really matter that much with auto flowering what the humidty is.. however placing a bucket or two in your room will help raise it..

The only problem i can think of about moving your plants is the temp change.. I presume your window sill isn't 28'c, and therefore confuse your plants.. after all it is cooler at night..

Yeah heard about get up and grow on the news... gutted... was going to pop in for a browse next week.. I got my flowering nutes from there... decent stuff at a o.k. price..

Could you imagine if the water from the fire brigade germinated all the seeds..??

Thanks Jay i watered last night seemed to boost them overnight. The soil is always moist about an inch down, im worried that i will over water. Is it ok to spray water on the leaves every few hours ? More pics

Sparying wouldn't harm... not to often... and mainly spray the soil for now as the light may scorch them if the leaves are wet..
But looking well.. they shoot up in a couple of weeks..

One more I irsh grower to add the list here. There are a hell of alot of us.
Living in the Czech Republic and 4 weeks into my first grow. All looking good so far. 2 Orange Skunk growing under a 600W hps. Itching to start flowering!

Jay-normus; it wasnt get up n grow that burnt down dont worry, it was only the head/seed shop nirvana, get up n grow is accross the way, didnt suffer from the fire at all thankfully,
its one of the best stocked shops in town

my leaves are turning up is the yellowish color normall for 1 1/2 week old plants ??????? help ........ im using palgron soil slow release food for 6 weeks so using no nutes

its a big room with a vent for extracting heat and i have a small tower fan blowing on them all the time. The soil is moist underneath about an inch. If i water again could i cause more probs ? I moved the light up higher in case that was the prob.

give it a few days n see how it dovelops

got 10fem D.P. Masterkush and 7fem W.O.S Stoned immaculate(white widow x jack herrer)
gona pop them as soom as i find a suitable veg light.
